Hello again and welcome to today's review of the ZERO 2 from vaporesso. This is the latest version of the popular renova zero that has had some changes from the original that enhance the ZERO 2 pod system. Being a totally automatic system and having no physical button to adjust, the ZERO 2 is now effortless to vape and having a comfortable streamlined shape also.

    UNBOXING AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Packaging is your standard box in a outer sleeve, popping the top off your greeted with the ZERO 2 resting in a plastic cutout with the 1Ω pod already installed on the device. Underneath the Zero 2 is the other 1.3Ω CCELL ( ceramic ) pod along with Vaporesso's braided charge cord, user manual, warranty card, anti-counterfeiting card and a nice bonus of a 10ml reusable fill bottle that comes in handy to transfer juice from a glass dripper tip and saves space for out and about juice carry.

This bottle's tip is tapered to perfectly fit the PTF fill port for a easy mess-free juice fill. As you can see the ZERO 2 is a high gloss device with a almost 3-D effect that is more pronounced in direct sunlight and give off some nice effects, it's also a fingerprint magnet that is noticeable in bright light but hard to see in normal or dim lighting.

Those of you that have the original ZERO will notice that the ZERO 2 has a more streamlined shape to it that Vaporesso says is more ergonomic in the hand, my large hands can't really feel a more ergonomic feel because it's so compact but I will tell you it's design with the tapered hump is very comfortable and give it a great look, kind of like a sports car or space ship in my opinion.

Vaporesso calls the color of the one that was sent to me Black/Red, the Gunmetal Grey body really accents the curves and bends of the device. You can see on a side view how the body angles are tapered as well as the hump in great detail.

Branding was done very well with only the back of the device having it, very lightly VAPORESSO ZERO 2 is etched in and in a shadow can't be seen.

As you can see the ZERO 2 is a very stylish compact device and because of the thinness of the bottom it can't be stood up and must be laid down on it's back so Vaporesso decided to use the bottom as the charge port which is the best location for it keeping the ZERO 2 looking seamless in it's appearance.

Inside the ZERO 2 are 2 spring-loaded contact pins that connect with the Gold contacts on the pods, between them is the auto-draw air-nozzle that is raised up off the floor of the device which helps in 2 ways, if any liquid was to ever get on the floor the nozzle being raised would prevent any from entering it, 2nd I think being raised as much as it is helps to deliver a smoother break up free draw.

The pods are also color coded helping you remember which is which without having to look to see to Ohm's markings, people with vision problems greatly appreciate that such as myself.

The Red based pod is the 1Ω mesh one and the Black based one is the 1.3Ω one that is a CCELL ( CERAMIC ) pod. On the right side of the bottom of the pod next to one of the Gold contacts is the PFT filling port that is spring loaded and opens for filling when a inserted bottle tip is pressed inward.

The supplied 10ml bottle works great and so does 100ml bottle tips. Using either bottle tip works great without a mess and not having to unplug then plug back in a piece of rubber as most bottom fill systems have saves you a step in the fill process. You will have a 1/2 a drop remain in the PFT fill port after filling.

As you already know this is a button free automatic type of pod system that is auto-draw only and is more on the tighter side rather than looser. The auto-draw works fantastic and never cuts off in mid-draw giving a smooth flavorful vape.

The wattage output for the 1Ω mesh pod is 11 watts while the 1.3Ω CCELL pod's output is 9 watts which impress me because it feels a bit higher on the mesh pod in my opinion.

The ZERO 2 uses a series of lights as a battery meter 4 total, when charging or installing a pod the number of light that lights that illuminate tell you the strength of the battery, lights will also illuminate when vaping strobing up from 1 through 4 lights. These lights are not visible just looking at the device, it must be activated for them to light up.

The mouthpiece of the pod is a duckbill type that is very lightly tinted allowing you to see how narrow the airflow tube through the pod is, remember this is a MTL only device. Being lightly tinted also allows easy juice viewing.

    USING THE ZERO 2

In the time of using the Zero 2 it has never failed to fire or stop during mid-draw, very few auto-draw devices actually perform well but the one on the Zero 2 does.

As far as describing the draw goes I would put at a more tight than loose type of draw that is not like sucking a milkshake through a straw tight but tighter than my preference is, I wish you could flip the pod and get a 2nd airflow choice as some other devices have but all in all I do like the airflow being tighter than looser .

Flavor is good using the 1Ω mesh pod with plenty of throat hit to satisfy me. Break in time was very fast as I would say maybe 10 or 12 vapes, warmth is good for a 1Ω pod so that made me happy. As far as vapor production for the 1Ω mesh goes, vapor is more than enough.

The 1.3Ω CCELL pod on the other hand gives a tighter draw than the 1Ω mesh and is also a cooler vape with much less vapor production. Throat hit is good but the wispy vapor and cool vape was not my type of vape, I much more preferred the 1Ω mesh pod.

As far as leaking from the pods goes I haven't had a drop leak out from either one and I've been using the Zero for over 10 days daily so if a problem was there I would have seen it.

I really like the design of the futuristic looking Zero 2 and the almost 3-D appearance pushes it up a notch, I mentioned earlier it was a fingerprint magnet in bright light but I guess that's the tradeoff for the 3-D type of effect.

The ZERO 2 gets my recommendation for being a compact, attractive looking device with nice pods that don't leak and have good flavor and having a 800mAh battery means fewer time recharging.

I would like to thank Milo and Vaporesso for providing the ZERO 2 for the purpose of this review that I hope help answer any of the questions about it you might have had.

    THANK YOU
