Hello everyone, today I would like to present you a new Starter kit.
The vaporesso GTX One was sent to me directly by vaporesso for this review.

After a long and infinite series of Pods of all types and all brands, Vaporesso finally presents a true traditional Mod with a real traditional 18mm tank in pure MTL style. The GTX One uses GTX coils specifically dedicated to her.

In this version, the Axon chipset provides up to 40 w of power and supports VW, Smart VW and VV modes.
The Mod uses an integrated 2000 mAh battery with USB type C.
Like the Gen and Swag2, the GTX One uses the external scratch-resistant coating.

    Enjoy the reading.

    How it is made:
The GTX One is made of zinc alloy, and anti-scratch / non-slip material that covers about 3/4 of the entire surface.

    7.jpg

The metal parts of the frame have a mirror-like shine that easily attracts fingerprints, the round Fire button is made of plastic, below it, we find the 0.69 “OLED screen, the Up and Down buttons are arranged vertically, and they are made of stainless steel, below we find the USB-C charging socket.

The rear profile is entirely covered with scratch-resistant material, in the lower part we find the Vaporesso logo.

    8.jpg

In the upper part of the mod, the plate can accommodate 22mm atomizers without protrusion, the thread of the 510 attachment is well-made, the pin is spring-loaded and gold-plated.

The base on which the GTX One rests bears the cell vent holes, the disposal logo, the C E mark, the geographical indication of production and the indication on the capacity of the integrated battery (2,000mAh).

On the top and bottom of the device there are two torx screws that hold the kit together.

To turn the Mod on / off, click on the fire button five times.
To lock / unlock the Mod, three clicks on the fire button.
In VW mode the power is adjustable from 5 to 40w with an increase / decrease of 0.1W at a time (slow), or by holding up / down by 1w at a time (fast).
The maximum power limit is 40w, trying to go further, the message “Max Power” appears on the screen.
To rotate the screen by 180 ° press the fire / Up keys together.
To access the menu (unlocked mod), keep the Up / Down keys pressed together, to scroll between the VW / VW Smart / VV modes, press Up or Down. To confirm or modify one of these modes, keep the fire button pressed.

    Protections:
-Overtime protection: This message appears on the screen and delivery stops when the puff reaches a continuous vaping time of 10s.
    - Low Atomizer protection: This message appears on the screen and delivery stops when the device detects too low resistance.
-High Atomizer protection: This message appears on the screen and the delivery stops when the device detects too high a resistance.
-Check Atomizer protection: This message appears on the screen when the atomizer is not detected, the device does not work.
    - Short Atomizer protection: This message appears on the screen and delivery stops when the device detects a short circuit.
-Low Battery Protection: This message appears on the screen when the battery voltage becomes too low and it is no longer possible to vape.
-Low Power Protection: This message appears on the screen when the battery voltage is extremely low, the device stops delivering.
Overload protection: During the charging phase, the device cuts off the power supply when fully charged.
-USB Input Protection: When the USB detects an input voltage higher than the nominal one, the device interrupts the charging process.

    Tank GTX 18:
The tank is made entirely of stainless steel and Pyrex, the 510 drip tip is in delrin.

    13.jpg

The maximum diameter with the Pyrex bubble / 3ml) reaches 22 mm. With Tpd glass (2.0ml) the maximum width is 18mm. The height with both configurations reaches 30 mm.

Note: the TPD version is equipped with two 2 ml Pyrex.

    14.JPG

The bottom of the atom has a slightly protruding pin, it bears the geographical indication of production, the product name, a serial number, the C E brand and the disposal logo.

Once the top cap is unscrewed, we do not find any trimming slots, this makes the operation very simple.
Note: Be careful not to tighten the top cap too much because it may be difficult to unscrew it.

    15.jpg

Once the base has been dismantled, the GTX coil can be inserted / removed with the convenient push and pull system.
The air flow can be completely partialized, the ring nut can adjust the 5 small holes on the atomizer base from narrow MTL to open MTL.

    16.jpg

    Coils:
The kit includes two coils, a GTX 0.8Ω Mesh (12–20 W) (pre-installed) and a GTX 1.2Ω MESH (7-11 W), two other coils can be purchased separately, one for the sub-ohm GTX 0.6Ω Mesh (20–30W) and one for MTL GTX 1.2Ω regular (8-12 W).

    17.jpg

On this GTX One I also installed several 22mm tanks, they do not protrude at all.

    Final thoughts:
The chipset of the GTX One is very responsive and speed to the fire button, for a starter kit like this I find the fact that it is equipped with only three modes (VW-Smart VW) so as not to complicate the life of the new vaper.
Smart VW mode (if activated) sets each GTX coil to the best wattage, this is also a valuable aid for beginners.

The management of the 2,000mAh battery with the coils from 1.2Ω to 10 / 11W allows you to cover the whole day abundantly. Full recharge takes place in about 50 minutes. The small 0.69-inch OLED screen has good brightness and the necessary information it reports is easy to read.

Vaporesso has extended the anti-scratch material also to the GTX One, this gives it the same tactile feedback of grip and softness of the other mods like the Target2 and the Gen. To give a touch of robustness, zinc alloy has also been used and this too I like it a lot. The shape and low weight make it very easy to handle.

Overall the construction materials are good, also for the GTX 18 tank which is made entirely of stainless steel with a 510 delrin drip tip in pure MTL style.

    19.jpg

For the test of the GTX One with the various coils I used a 50/50 hazelnut liquid.

    - Coil GTX 0.6Ω Mesh (20-30W) sold separately.
Designed for a Restricted Flavor with fully open air flow, I find it balanced if used between 20 and 24w, going further is not convenient because of the air flow limited to the MTL puffs of this atom, as the aromatic yield is equal to 0.8, the volume of the steam generated is consistent and never too hot. On the battery consumption side it is the least indicated.

    - Coil GTX Mesh 0,8Ω (12-20W) included in the kit.
The best performance for this coil is between 15 and 20W with the air flow wide open, I think it is much more suitable than the previous one because I find the performances very similar, of course to the benefit of the battery life.

    - Coil GTX 1.2Ω Regular (8-12W) sold separately.
This is not my favorite of the GTX coil lot. However, it manages to surprisingly produce a lot of steam in relation to the approximately 10W usually used, moreover the consumption of liquids / battery is really negligible.

    - Coil GTX Mesh 1,2Ω (7-11W) included in the kit.
The best performance for this coil is between 9 and 11W with the partial air flow (1-3 holes) the aroma for my hazelnut is faithful, the steam production is discreet and tending to fat (as I like it) the vape it is never too hot, but not too cold, this is a coil that moreover consumes very little liquid and battery.

I liked this starter kit and recommend it. I find it an excellent MTL device that is easy to use for new vaper who want to abandon traditional cigarettes.
