Welcome back folks for todays review which comes to us from vaporesso and is on the new FORZ TX80 Kit. This kit is a change from what we normally see from Vaporesso being that their devices have more of a upscaled look to them. The FORZ TX80 Kit is a waterproof, shockproof, dustproof kit, yes even the tank. Vaporesso claims that closing the airflow down completely and putting the supplied rubber drip tip cap on that the tank is waterproof also, I could be wrong but I think that's a first in the industry. Before I tell you my experience with the FORZ Kit lets look at some detailed information on the FORZ TX80 Kit by Vaporesso.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
I always like being wowed when opening vape packages and Vaporesso did that again with the FORZ TX80 Kit. Their presentation of products always show they don't just put items in a container and package it up, they always think of the little things even presentation of their products. Below the kit in the picture is a packet holding your manual, warranty card and counterfeit information. Even the braided Type-C charge cable is housed in it's own container.
The top of the device has a nice design surrounding the spring loaded offset 510 and has AXON CHIP stamped on the top plate that is held in place with 5 screws.
The single 18650 battery is installed on the bottom of the device via a battery cap, simply lift the inner part and unscrew it, install your battery positive side in then screw the cap back on.
Battery polarity is clearly marked inside the device with a red + and - is marked on the battery cap as well.
Embossed in the leather grip is FORZ in between 2 red stitching rows from top to bottom giving it a very tough but stylish look. The Tank's glass tube is protected by being incased in the rubber cage used to protect it from drops and it works well as I've tested it inadvertently by setting the device on a 5 foot high dresser only to have my cat jump up to investigate it and promptly knock it to the wooden floor, not a scratch to be found on either the tank or device. Even the Drip Tip itself has a stylish chrome ring at the bottom of it. The FORZ Tank's bottom airflow uses 3 airflow slots and is a air lovers dream but can be dialed down for a nice restricted DL vape.
The top cap unscrews with a quarter turn to reveal 2 juice fill ports that are partially blocked by metal inside them, I thought for sure there would be problems filling because of it but filling slowly has worked just fine without a mess. Vaporesso provides a key to unscrew the glass bracket lock when cleaning or changing the glass tube and it also doubles as a coil removal tool for anyone with dexterity problems.
I really like how this device can withstand punishment but still have a appearance of style with the front plate having a brushed metal look surrounding the display screen and the 4 buttons of the device. Yes 4 buttons, Vaporesso incorporated a dedicated menu button that sits under the plus and minus buttons at the bottom of the device.
On one side of the device is the Type-C charge port that is located down at the bottom and is covered with a rubber plug that is pulled out revealing the charge port. There is some small Vaporesso branding located toward the top of the device.
MENU
* 5 presses of the power button turns the device both on/off
* 3 presses of the power button locks the adjustment buttons
* Holding the menu button for 3 seconds or pressing it 3 times will open the menu up
* First up is the new F(t) mode that sorta acts like a power curve automatically in my opinion
* Next is pulse mode followed by power eco mode that conserves battery life
* Then comes smart TC for all your Temp adjustments and different metals
* Then comes DIY mode where you can choose VW,VT,VV,BP and Super Player mode
* Next is system set for further adjustments such as brightness, screen flip, version, default, auto eco
AXON CHIP 2.0
The new Axon chip 2.0 has worked very well with a instant fire that is so fast you need to be careful not to touch the fire button when picking up the device because it might give you a fright when the coil engages LOL.
I am a straight wattage vaper so I couldn't tell you anything about how the chip performs in TC one way or another. I tried the new F(t) mode but really didn't notice much of a difference from straight wattage but that could be just me. I'm very pleased with the new chips performance never having any problems with the device itself.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Using the FORZ for the couple of weeks I've had it it has improved, let me explain. When I first took off both the top and bottom cap of the tank they felt gritty when re screwing both caps back in place. After about 3 or 4 tank refills the top cap was fine no more gritty threads. As far as the bottom cap, when I changed out the pre-installed coil to test the 0.4Ω coil everything was fine with the threading. The only reason I even mentioned this is in case any of you that buy one have this happen to them, it should work itself out very soon as mine did. This tank has 3 airflow slots giving it massive airflow wide open but can dialed down to a RDL . The tank is somewhat loud and whoshy although smooth from wide open to very closed down with no whistle at any range of airflow I tried. Flavor was average at first but improved with each tank refill.
The look of this tank is a look of toughness that as I said earlier was proven with a 5 foot fall on to hard wood floors without even a scratch. I even like the Drip Tip with it's chrome ring showing at the bottom. The tank fits flush flush to the device adding to it's appearance. As far as the coils go I preferred the 0.4Ω coil at 56w because of battery life, both coils performed the same. One other thing on the tank is that she's a juice guzzler, which is fine because both coils are rather large. I never received a dry hit in the many tankful's of juice used during the course of this review
The FORZ device itself is a very comfortable and ergonomic mod and being a single 18650 device even though it's beefed up with all the protection it isn't that heavy in my opinion. I wish that it was a 21700 though because teaming it with a tank that uses coils that require wattage in the 40-80 watt range I need to carry a extra battery if I'm going to be out with it for a long time.
I really hope Vaporesso comes out with a coil in the 30w range simply for battery longevity. The device will cater to those that need it's toughness but also to folks looking for something attractive as well. The screen although somewhat on the small side is very vivid and has plenty of information that you need minus a puff counter, you do get a puff timer but Vaporesso really should have used a puff counter instead of the timer especially with this device.
Scrolling through the wattage range is done fairly quick moving in .5 increments to the max of 80w, this device does not round robin. I tested the mods waterproof capability's in a sink full of water with no problems . All in all the FORZ TX80 Kit performed well for me.
I would like to thank Jasmine, Jessica and Vaporesso for providing the FORZ TX 80 Kit for review and I hope this review helped anyone looking into purchasing one for themselves.
THANK YOU
