Vapor Chef - Hobbes Blood

Anyone have a decent clone or shoot me pointers on where to start?

This is quickly becoming my ADV, and would love love love to be able to replicate this.

Probably similar to Honey Pearry - simply start with their base flavors, strawberry, coconut and watermelon and perhaps a few bits of smooth or sweet.

Any idea where the could be getting their coconut from? It doesn't appear to be Coconut extra from TFA, and every other coconut I've tried hasn't been very good.

Coconut candy, perhaps. I HATE the coconut Extra. Tastes like coconut liqueur.

I use Hangsen Coconut from EcigExpress. I'm vaping some now with Hangsen Virginia tobacco from RTSVapes. All the Hangsen tobacco flavors are outstanding.

I feel like there might be a drop of sour or two, but I have yet to even get close to getting this one tasting right.
I'm going to get some coconut candy too...and try for the millionth time.

It was all TFA. It even had that kinda waxy taste that fresh Hobbes blood has. I have two coconuts, three strawberries and one watermelon from TFA. I know coconut had the lowest percentage.

i will experiment tonight with it. I've got some NETs brewing that should be finishing up so when I'm done with them I will give Hobbes Blood another crack.

Not being able to find a good clone recipe of Hobbes Blood is probably the biggest reason I haven't dived into DIY juice yet. It is my ADV and about 90% of what I vape. This thread just might get me started experimenting.

An ignorant question, but what are NETs?

I actually placed an order last night for all the basic stuff I need to get started in DIY Juice, with my goal for replicating or at least replacing Hobbes Blood as my ADV. Here's what I have found in my research so far.

A basic Tiger's Blood recipe is:

• Coconut Extra (TFA) 1.5%
• Strawberry (TFA) 12%
• Watermelon (TFA) 6%

or alternatively

• Double Coconut (TFA) 2%
• Strawberry (TFA) 2%
• Watermelon (TFA) 6%

There were some suggestions that Capella Sweet Watermelon and Capella Coconut or TFA Coconut Candy are better choices. I saw another recipe for someone who's attempting a slightly more complex Tiger's Blood. He admits it isn't like Hobbes, but it is similar and could be a starting point.

• 8% Cap Sweet Strawberry
• 5% Cap Coconut
• 2% TFA Watermelon
• 2% TFA Marshmallow
• 1% DIY HoneyDew
• 1 drop of TFA Smooth per 5ml

There's a rumor floating around Reddit's DIY forum that one of the Vapor Chef's extract sources is Olivenation.com. I do not know how baseless the rumor is as I can't find the original source, but some claim the Vapor Chef himself admitted it and some that it is just speculation since Olive Nation is a Chef supply store. Either way, I have a feeling that getting the right source for the extracts will be the difference between a similar clone and an exact clone, and the Vapor Chef probably doesn't use run of the mill sources.

I saw the reddit thing. And it is pretty unsubstantiated. He did an AMA yesterday and he is playing everything pretty close to the vest. If someone who has some ON experience would chime in, we might get somewhere.
I blew the flavor budget for the month, and can't be the guy to order. Someone jump on it!
