I've been vaping for about 6 months now. I commute by car to work.

I used to hate the smell of cigarettes in my car, also the cigarette holes (from burning embers / flakes) in my shirts very quickly dissuaded me from smoking in my car.

After I switched over to vaping I find myself vaping in my car while I drive, waiting for the traffic light to change or even when coasting along on low speeds. More and more, I find that I'm vaping a lot while driving, to the extent that I've pretty much gotten used to driving one handed only.

I vape with the Vapage V-Mod, the large one. It's easy enough to jam it under my groin, between me and the car seat. It's comfortable enough that I often forget it's there and it tumbles down on to the car floor or occasionally even out on to the road when I get up. Would not mind having a holder / case mounted in my car for this reason but have neglected to look for one, yet.

I am careful while driving; I consciously tuck away the APV, and have both hands on the steering when I'm at a high enough speed that warrants it. I have a manual drive, so changing gears has taken practice to get right. I have become used to doing it with the Vapage held in the palm and the gearshift knob with the tips of the fingers.

What are your experiences? Do you people vape while driving?

When I was smoking analogs I would always smoke more while I was driving (pretty much chained smoked while driving). Now that I'm vaping I almost do the same thing , but not as much. I guess the good thing with vaping is you don't waste the product, I know with analogs I would lit it up take a few drags, and when I'd go back to take another drag half of the cigarette was gone.

It's funny , now that I no longer smoke analogs I can see all kind of burned spots from cigarettes in my vehicle

See I am new to this whole driving car and smoking / vaping thing. Only been driving cars for 2 months and I tell you what I HATE the smell of smoke in my car, so just started using my PV and its great. As you said, no burns, no smell, no waste. Tho I think some old lady thought I was smoking up a crack pipe by the way she looked at me =P...

I used to chain smoke while driving and now, I'm chain vaping on my lavatube with tank set-up. Got a few curious looks from others out on the road but most ignore or don't even notice it. Love the way my car smells now, no more burned hole in my carpet flooring, no more haze on the windows....

I use a manual switched tube mod and drive a manual transmission car. Using the manual switch on the PV while driving is no problem if I have a hand free rom driving. Vaping with a manual switch is a easy one hand operation. However, you can't shift gears without one hand on the wheel and the other on the shifter.

Back in the smoking days I could hold a cigarette in the left hand while holding the wheel: using the right to shift. Or I'd hang a cig from my mouth to leave both hands free for driving. Can't really do either of those safely with the E-Power 14650.

When I need both hands for driving the E-Power stays in the door storage compartment or on the seat next to me. You have to keep your head when vaping and driving and be ready to use both hands to drive as needed.

.....no more haze on the windows....

I've actually found this to be backwards for me. I've never smoked in the car I have now, since I've gotten this car since I've quit smoking. But I do find that I get an as-bad or worse haze on my windshield and windows since vaping in my car. So unfortunately for me, that problem hasn't gone away. On the positive side, gone is the layer of crap that seemed to collect on my "ashboard" :)

I usually vape every 30 minutes or so. On most shorts trips I don't bother with vaping at all. I enjoy driving my manual shift WRX turbo. The clutch and brake pedals are fairly close together in these pocket rockets. I don't want anything in my shifting hand except the shifter knob and nothing under my .... or between my legs except my Levi's.

Really? You must be having unbelievably huge clouds of vape.
I've not noticed a difference in visibility apart from when my vapor's dissipating.

I smoke more in a car. My vaping habits tend to be more consistent no matter where I'm at. I still don't like smoking in my car, though lately it's been a problem as my girlfriend has been using my car for the past 3 months and while I've been trying to get her into vaping with a set of 510s, she only uses it a couple times per day. But, it's only been a week and my selection of juices aren't to her liking. I am not a fan of the smell, the burns, and especially the ashes that collect on the various surfaces of my cars interior.

I drive a lot for my job and that's what has caused me to stop vaping for the past 6 months or so. But I'm getting back into it now, and I'm really hoping my girl will get more and more into this along with me. We just need to find the right flavors for her.

Oh, and when I drive I usually have my 3.7v box mod with me and a Boge carto or my eGo PT. When I'm not using them, I keep them in the cup holder and I don't have to take my eyes off the road to pick either one back up and hit it a few times. I have a problem using the slim 510s while I'm driving as they don't like to stay in my hand right so I have a lil difficulty hitting the button w/o adjusting it each time. I use my eGo PT for dripping, which is sometimes a pain in the ... while driving since I have to be quick about dripping those 3 drops at stops.
