Vaping on the beach

Smoking on Venice Beach is illegal.
But vaping isn't. I'm just enjoying my day off chilling on the beach with my PCC, 901, 510, iPhone and music, all powered by my APC unit. 8)

....and I won't be leaving any cigarette butts in the sand.

Same here at the beach in Seaside Heights, NJ. I was there 2 weeks ago and was surprised to see the 'NO SMOKING BEYOND THIS POINT' sign at the back of the beach! It was funny to see people taking their pack and going to the back of the beach to smoke.

BTW - I love Venice Beach. I have a sister that used to live in Northridge and I would go visit her. I had to go to Venice at least twice during each of my visits. Most of the beaches in Ca are beautiful. However, Venice is fun as well!

Alright, I can see not allowing smoking on the beach because of the litter that is causes... but it's open freakin air people! Maybe we should ban farting...

It's only because of the butts...people are idiots and ruin it for everybody else. I took a portable handheld ashtray with me to Burning Man a couple years ago to combat that...

This is true and I have taken it apon myself to also restrict my gas release in such places Goddess. Now there are noticibly more dolphins frequenting the coast. A little bit of self control can go a long way.

Actually I have never left cig buts in the sand, I was always a too concientious a smoker to do that. Plus it's my beach, 50 metres from my house so I like it to be kept pristine! Just reinforcing the joys of vape!
I used to live in the UK and out of habit and without thought, smokers tend to just throw their butts onto the pavement. Something I noticed is really frowned apon out here in Cali, especially when you learn the drainage system just washes straight into the ocean.

RIGHT BRA - I never left butts on the beach either when I smoked. I would put them in a small pile by my umbrella and at the end of day I would pick them all up and bring them to a garbage can. Some people just dont care. The thing that bothers me is they punish the smokers when people throw food wrappers and what not on the beach. They should be fined for littering - I dont care what it is.
