Ive been having to do a bit of flying lately ,I notice now that as well as the usual ,You cant smoke on the plane they are also now saying this includes electronic cigaretes.I can understand and respect other peoples rite too not have to smell my vaper I breath out but cant understand why you shouldn't be able to vape in the toilets ,the air in toilets is not pumped around the rest of the plane. Which makes me wonder if they could even tell if you did vape in the aircraft toilet, its only vapour not smoke eh.

I've done it - the summer of 2013. I wouldn't
even try it now. The smoke detectors in the
bathrooms can sense the vapor and will go off,
if they did they'd probably make an emergency
landing and your face would be plastered on newspapers
across the country. If you want to take the risk that's
your decision. When I did it I had a cigalike, held the
vapor in, and blew down on the floor what little vapor
I had in me to come out =) I did it just so I could say
I did, no other reason.

Oh boy, OK...many smokers get twitchy as hell on a long flight and the sight of someone enjoying a vape might just push them over the edge.I think that is the only reason it isn't allowed:D The WC is kinda of a nasty place to do it even if it doesn't set off the detectors. There is a Youtube vid on the subject and a practice of double inhaling the vapor reduces the exhaled remains to almost nil. I am in no way condoning this practice on a plane but after the meal when everyone sttles down for a kip and the lights go out, the stewardess's tend to vanish and under a blanket nobody knows what your up to..stealth is the key:unsure:

Practice your stealth-vaping technique. Use a low-VG liquid (anything 50% or more PG should do), and any setup that's not an extreme cloud-chasing sub-ohm rig. Low pressure and low humidity in the airplane helps minimize clouds anyway. With a bit of practice you'll be able to vape in your seat, right in front of the flight attendant and they wouldn't even know it.

since i've started vaping i've vaped on every plane i've been on. although i realize it is not exactly glamorous i totally will vape in the bathrooms of planes and airports. no trouble with tripping any alarms. i do what most recommend and hold it in longer than usual and blow it towards the floor. i vape at 1.5ohm at 3.7v so whatever. it's pretty manageable.
