Vaping On A Cracked Tank

I have a viv nova pyrex tank that cracked this morning. I had no idea until about a half hour. I've been vaping on it all day. I took it apart and the thing just fell apart.

This may sound stupid but is there any chance that the glass could have gotten into my lungs?

I obviously switched to a new tank but I'm a little concerned.

This is just my opinion but I don't think there were any pieces until after you took it apart and it crumbled. I know that is what I would have told myself if it had been me. But just like you, I would have been concerned also. So sorry this happened to you and caused you to worry. But I really do think it is fine. I have read many stories about people who were vaping with a cracked tank but I have never once read where there were any it cause any serious issues. And I think we would have read something because the people here on ecf care about others and would have posted it as a possible warning. I hope you feel better about it.

I'm thinking you're probably ok . I'm sure it was a scary moment. I had one do that on an Erlkonigin.

When the tank cracked, everything still had to make it through the wick, and turn in to a vapor. Glass does not vaporize at the temps vapors use.

If you got glass in your lungs you'd be in the hospital. You can't sneak anything solid into your lungs without choking. One of my protank2's is cracked, but it's not leaking and it stays together, and I'm too lazy to find the extra glass tanks I bought. Figure I'll find em when she falls apart totally.
