Interested to find out how many of you have vaped at sporting events, both indoor and outdoor, mostly pertaining to professional sports. Feel free to shout out places that have banned vaping or vice versus allowed it, and any experiences or tips that you want to share.

As for myself, so far I haven't had the chance too but im heading out to Yankee Stadium within the hour so we'll see how my chances go!

I am a season ticket holder for the Jaguars and have vaped at every game for the last 2 years. Surprisingly security has never questioned me about bringing it into the stadium, even though you have to put everything from your pockets into a clear bag for them to inspect while you get wanded, and the people around my section have no problem with it. I usually stealth vape in order to not be obnoxious and attract too much attention. Went to see Yes last week at the Amphetheatre in St Augustine and security stopped me on the way in and asked what that was sticking out of my pocket. I told them it was an ecig and showed them how it worked. They all thought it was cool and had alot of questions but no problem with it. Hope you enjoy the game and have no problems over vaping!

Just got back from the game, most important yankees won! Second important was able to vape with no problem! It was pretty crowded around me in the 200 section but was able to vape with no security or other fans having a problem. I held in my pulls a little longer than usual to reduce the amount of vape production and was able to happily vape the whole game, all in all successful night!

I got to wondering about this for Soldier Field (Bears, outdoor stadium) who banned smoking.
I found an article where there was a concert that sold ecigs in Soldier Field. I asked on the Bears forums and someone said they were asked to leave for vaping during a Bears game but I don't know if that will still apply since that concert was this year during the off season.

But I don't pay the price for tickets so I'll never know.

I haven't had any problems at Yankee Stadium anywhere and the Pudential Center seems to have a "if we don't see it you didn't do it" kind of policy. There was plenty of smoke at the Iron Maiden concert in July anyway (stage props, machines) that I went unnoticed. Never had problems at sporting events there (free devils/nets tickets...2 teams I wouldn't pay to see anyway) either in pretty decent seats.

My first opportunity to vape at a sporting event was a couple of weeks ago at the Bengals' intrasquad scrimmage. I easily passed thru security at the gate with my lanyarded BB openly presented around my neck and holding my Silver Bullet in my hand, both attired with carto tanks and brightly colored glass drip tips. I made no attempt to conceal them to the security person and he looked and nodded his approval.

I pretty much wandered around the stadium, not staying in one particular place, and vaped while walking from one area to the next. There were a lot of people walking in both directions, and no one seemed to pay attention to me. I did notice some smokers outside the gates, and thought for a minute about joining them to possibly instigate some conversation, but thought nevermind and kept wandering around.
