Once again I say welcome back for another review, today's review comes to me from Sourcemore and I will leave a code at the conclusion of the review for a great discount for this kit from them. uwell has been known for always producing great coils as well as devices and tanks and I'll tell you ahead of time that todays review kit is no exception. On the surface this is a gorgeous looking kit but looks aren't everything, how well does this kit perform is down below in my review but first lets get to know the Valyrian 3 kit in detail.

I really like that UWELL packaged the Valyrian Kit in the way it did with each component of the kit in it's own spot making the presentation of the kit a exciting start. Of course the fist thing noticed was the gorgeous Mod's unique look and the Blue leather sides that are very soft and supple with a nice cushion feel. The Valyrian Tank is a sub-ohm Tank that has a look that equally match the device although the device having a body in a matt gunmetal finish the Tank should have been Gunmetal color as well instead of silver, the Valyrian has a Gunmetal color Tank so that's a missed opportunity of matching the Tank to the Mod. Even though it's a Silver Tank in the kit it still works and looks alright because it's dark Silver. Your spare O-rings are in a bag under the tank, the user manual and warranty card and battery warning cards are placed on top.
Having 3 airflow slots really make the Tank a air machine that is so open with airflow that when using the pre-installed 0.32Ω SS316L single mesh coil you can actually breathe through it almost unobstructed with the airflow fully open, a true air lovers dream. Coils screw into the base that recirculates any juice leakage back into the coil
The 0.14Ω FeCrAL dual mesh coil makes the airflow more restricted and is more to my style in airflow, both produce fantastic flavor as well as vapor, it's very easy to fog a room up in no time.
UWELL even designed the look of the coil to sort of match the Dragon theme of the Kit, I also like the fact that the coils aren't really juice guzzlers, there not sippers either but fall nicely in the middle range, these coils are also backward compatible with the Valyrian 2 Tank which is a nice bonus.
This is a top fill Tank that uses a button opening system that when pressed in flips the top cap off, the button is not easily opened but when carrying in a pocket be mindful of it. Of note to you is that the drip tip is a 510 not 810 but works very well and is also comfortable on the lips. This is a medium range Tank in the noise department, fairly average sound. Having 2 fill ports allows easy filling while allowing air to escape through 1 of the ports.
The look of the Dragon theme is continued on the 510 plate with 2 ornate Dragons printed on the 510 plate, the Valyrian is a fully themed Dragon device that screams Game Of Thrones throughout the Mod and Tank. The Gold plated 510 pin is spring loaded and has a pretty long throw of travel to it, if using another Atomizer on the Mod up to a 28mm base will fit just fine without and overhang of the front and back of the device.
The dual 18650 batteries are installed via a hinged battery compartment door at the bottom of the Mod, again UWELL did a great job of marking correct battery polarity on the door with plus and minus symbols painted white making it very easy to see, correct polarity is also marked inside the battery tubes with a Red + and Blue - symbol, all manufacturers should take note of this. I see no problems with the door failing as it feels very solid and closes securely, there are 18 ventilation holes on it as well.
Turning our attention to the back of the device, you can see a series of Ribs or going with the theme (Dragon scales) that are dormant when not in use but illuminate and breathe when vaped or if used to charge your batteries which I don't recommend doing because it puts stress on the device, use a dedicated battery charger to charge your batteries.
When using Power mode (Wattage ) the ribs or scales illuminate and breathe a Orange color, if using the device in TC mode the scales or ribs illuminate and breathe Blue in color and if a short or no Atomizer is connected, vaping over 10 seconds, locked or low batteries it breathes a Red color when the fire button is pressed, I took off the Tank and used the Red color to demonstrate it because the Orange and Blue color comes across as white on my camera because of a lighting failure of mine.
Because UWELL went with a front facing button instead of a side button or even a firebar which would have made the device even better, the back of the Mod is in the palm of your hand unable to be seen anyway. I must admit though they do look pretty nice when activated.
We now come to the front of the device that has a very unique futuristic look that I really like a lot. Branding is very minimum having the Valyrian name at the top portion of the device, the only other branding on the device is on the battery door with UWELL printed.
Starting at the top is the fire button that works well with a clicky feel that fires immediately when pressed, as I mentioned earlier a firebar would have been a much better choice but the button works well using the thumb or finger to fire it.
Below the fire button is a multi-colored display screen that is very bright and vivid although a bit small in stature, with so much room on the display screen I wish it was larger. Below the display screen are the adjustment buttons and below them is the type-c charge port.

Having only 2 power modes really make the menu system very easy to operate as well as navigate, I don't use TC only wattage so I can't tell you how well it performs using the TCR settings, the settings for SS316L and Nickle 200 are in the user manual.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS
As you can tell I really like the Valyrian 3 Kit for so many reasons, first and foremost is the phenomenal flavor that these coils produce, I haven't had to go past the Minimum setting to get extraordinary flavor and vapor that clouds up a room in no time.
Having a 6ml tank that isn't a guzzle of juice is another bonus for this kit and the push button open top cap works great, I always brace it so when it opens there's not a lot of force ( I want it to last ). Having 3 airflow slots I can tell you it's a air machine when it's fully open but closed down to half it becomes a great RDL vape, airflow is smooth at any setting and although not whisper quiet the noise level isn't bad at all.
The menu system is beyond easy and having only 2 power modes really simplify things even further. Going the extra mile as UWELL has done with correct battery polarity markings in White is a nice change to what I normally come across with review products. I don't see any future problems with the battery door it's very solid when closed having zero movement in it.
The Leather side panels are so comfortable when held in the hand with just enough cushioning, the Mod really should have a firebar because it feels natural to just pick it up and squeeze. Thumb or finger firing works fine but a firebar would have been a better choice. UWELL really carried the Dragon theme all the way and did a great job of it, even the 510 plate has a couple of Dragons ornately printed on it.
The Display screen really pops with color which might be too much for some but I like color and this display screen does not disappoint, being bright and vivid with font sizes that are easy on the eyes adds another check mark in my box of wants that the Valyrian delivered. With so much more room on the screen I would have liked a larger display though.
We now come to the Appearance of this attractive device that I think is stunning with it's Dragon theme. All the lines flow perfectly and the slight indentation in the middle adds depth to the device for a even better look. The illuminated Scales or ribs on the back are a nice touch and would be easier to see it it had a firebar, some may not care for this feature but there is no way to turn it off, I happen to like it.
