    Hello and welcome back for my review of the latest Caliburn as of the date this review is written. The Caliburn G3 pod system has many nice features to it and has 2 versions out there regarding fill up's. I was sent the side fill version from sourcemore using the old familiar rubber plug but there is another version that employs the snap off mouth piece with top fill. The G3 Caliburn has a internal 900mAh battery and display screen with adjustable wattage up to 25watt, there is smart circuitry in the G3 that reads the pod being used and stops wattage advancement past the maximum for that pod. There are other features I'll get into after some manufacturer info on the Caliburn G3.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

    Packaging is very simple with the device sitting in a plastic tray with the 0.9Ω pod cartridge, charge cord and user manual tucked into the backside of the tray. At first glance the Caliburn G3 seemed like your usual pod device until I picked it up, that is when I noticed the longer length of the device compared to the G2 series. I really like it's appearance with the Gold fire button against the Black colored body making it look more upscaled, Sourcemore sent a package of replacement pods also.

    The 0.6Ω pod is preinstalled and it's connection is like most pod devices use ( magnets ). Pulling the pod off and filling using the side fill with a rubber plug was mess free because the fill port is fairly large.

    Uwell ships the Caliburn G3 with a protective sticker across the contacts and a air holes of the preinstalled pod for safety ( remove it before using ). I wanted a full charge to begin testing and that's when I noticed the battery bar illuminated on the display screen.

    The Caliburn G3 has haptic feedback that is felt and heard when installing the pod into the device or when charging, Uwell uses haptic feedback on other devices I've reviewed and I like it.

    The one downside of the G3 is there is only 2 airflow choices, each pod has a large hole and a small hole, placing the pod into the device with the large hole over the devices air feed nozzle will produce a loose draw while turning it around and placing it in with the small hole over the air feed nozzle will produce a tighter draw.

    The picture above shows the diameter hole sizes. There are 2 small holes on each side of the device to feed air to it. The bore size is rather narrow on both of the pod cartridges. I like that the charge port is located on the bottom of the device keeping a nice streamlined appearance to the device.

    One of my all day vape devices happens to also be a Uwell device called the Tenet that uses a internal 750mAh battery and almost gets me through a entire day of vaping, it's a bit smaller but heavier than the G3 which is surprising because the G3 is taller and has a larger battery.

    I really like that the fire button has 3 modes of operation, ( fire button only, fire button or auto draw or auto draw only ). To cycle through the different modes press the fire button twice quickly. The display screen also shows what fire mode has been selected. I think the display screen could have been done a tad larger but as it is my failing eyes can sea all information very clearly.

    The menu system on the Caliburn G3 is so easy to navigate only using a couple of button combinations, I hesitate to call it a menu system at all.

    * On/Off - 5 Quick Presses Of The Fire Button

    * Change Fire Modes - 2 Quick Presses Of The Fire Button

    * Clear Puff Counter - Press Fire Button 4 Times Quickly

    * Wattage Adjustment - Press Fire Button 3 Times Quickly, When Flashing Begins Press The Fire Button To Make Wattage Adjustments

    PROS

    * Attractive

    * Very Good Flavor

    * Bright And Easy To Read Display Screen

    * Smart Wattage Feature

    * Lightweight

    * MTL Or RDL

    * 900mAh Internal Battery

    * Haptic Feedback

    * 2.5ML Capacity

    * 3 Fire Modes

    * Juice Viewing Window On Both Sides

    * 2A Fast Charging

    CONS

    * Only 2 Airflow Choices

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

    First thing I want to talk about is the flavor of the G3 and it's pods. I found the flavor to be very good and a bit more defined than the G2 coils that I love, I can't say it's better but it's definitely more defined and I think if there was a true airflow adjustment it would have even better flavor.

    My pod of choice is the 0.9Ω using the small hole getting a tighter draw, this setup works fine for my style of MTL but wish I could tweak it tighter just a tad more and I mean just a tad more.

    Using the 0.6Ω for RDL worked very good for me using the large hole opening, both pods proved to be solid performers in my book and I consider the Caliburn G3 Pod System a winner 100%. I have a coupon code below for you if you purchase the Caliburn G3 Pod System through Sourcemore.

    COUPON CODE - UCG3

    I would like to thank Kavis and Sourcemore for providing the Caliburn G3 Pod System for my review and I hope all your questions were answered.

    THANK YOU
