I've got a Frenzy that I really like, but the coils last for ..... I seem to be getting maybe 3-4 days out of both types. I tend to use sweeter juices so I know that's part of it. But the cotton they use to wrap the coils is basically paper. I want to upgrade to a similar button fired device on the smaller side. Rebuildable coils if possible, but definitely not something I have to replace the whole pod. Obviously no smok products as Ive had bad luck with them.

Yeah, I got a Frenzy, and really liked it. I love that form factor. But after 1 1/2 tanks it already tasted kind of bad. I got a Vladdin about the same time, and found I could refill 5-6 times, with the same juice as Frenzy. Guess which desk drawer the Frenzy has been in since? Both were wins, bu I've gotten a lot of Vladdin pods since then. Best pod system I've found yet

The Aspire Breeze NXT is a pretty darn good little device. Has air flow and holds a good amount of liquid and decent battery size. The coils are large and have had good life. The flavor is real good which comes from those larger coils. It has a tighter draw and has air flow control. The vape is on the warmer side and there are no power settings. Has auto draw and button draw as well.

+1 for the NXT

Best I’ve had. Beats the Frenzy and Caliburn for me. Love the air flow, 5+ mls of juice, good battery life, warm vape, made of aluminum. I vape DIY no flavor. On my 9th fill (40+ mls) and still going strong.

Plan to pick up another one soon as it is the “one” for me.

Just to say out loud, there are a few factors you might want to try with your Frenzy before you chuck it. First off, ya the .7 coil isn't that great. So if you want to do something in that range, ya this might not be the right device for you.

But the 1.2 ohm NS SS316L Coils last me about 2 weeks, even with sweet juice. Just note that this is specifically the SS version; you can use the 1.2 Flint standard coils too, but they don't do the mild temp control thing. So maybe that's part of it. Also, these coils are really only for 50/50 juice.

So, just making sure you've tried 1.2 SS with 50/50. If that is only lasting a few days, I'm really shocked.

Agree with the Sprocket that the 1.2 SS is the best coil. For me, as I vape unflavored, I can taste a burnt taste even if it’s very small. So I use 70/30 (pg/vg) to keep the coil saturated. Even helps with the 1.6 flint coils. For whatever reason, i find the Frenzy burns very easy compared to my Nxt or minifit or Caliburn.

That may be the issue. I haven't really been paying attention to the pg/vg ratios of my juice, but I suspect they are all higher in VG. 40/60 or 30/70 oh to vg.
Crap, I just ordered more juice yesterday and didn't think to look at that.

Considering I like strawberry based flavors with cream, am I kinda boned on that?

Hmm, well only boned if you don't have a different device to use that higher VG juice in. But for the frenzy, ya these tiny coils need a higher PG, so 50/50 at least.

You could find some strawberry flavors in 50/50 no problem though. Most nic salts tend to be 50/50. Or any made-to-order juice site you can customize it, and strawberry cream type flavors are everywhere.

But most pods can use a 70vg thicker juice without issue...so maybe a good excuse to get an extra pod system to salvage your recent juice purchase. Gotta love justification to buy a new device ;) But don't abandon the frenzy if you haven't tried some thiner juices. It really is perfect tight MTL with that right combo of juice and those SS coils.

The only other appropriate device I have is a Vandy Vape Ex squonker that I specifically got for nic salts. I don't love it. I picked it up specifically because I hate the idea of buying coils and wanted to build my own since Ive been doing that for years. The flavors never seem to come through on it despite playing around with air flow and various coils. Right now I've got a 2mm 7 wrap 28 gauge kanthal coil that's about 1.1 ohm. It's wicked with rayon since I've found that rayon handles the salt juices better than cotton. It's not bad..but still not the same flavor or feel that the frenzy has.

There's three rebuildable pod devices out there that I've seen. I'm eyeing up the Jester. Or if I want to treat myself DotMod had an AIO device that has a rebuildable atomizer that sits in a pod
