You guys must have read my mind because that's the battery ive been eyeballing where I get my supplies. I like the look of the "box" battery and looks like it would be comfortable to hold as well

Fair warning the more you hold it the more she wants to be held so stock up on juice:D

If your ever looking for a new tank go with the Aspire mini with the bvc coils. It will kick your game up a notch for not much money.

I started vaping with a eGo starter pack, I recently bought a new tank..i think its a Innokin iclear 30/30s with the swivel tip and I love it but im trying to figure out a better battery for it without spending a bunch of money, suggestions?

Well, one thing to kick around is upfront verses long haul. I have a VTR and use the 30S. Nice combo. Yeah, it's more upfront but when an MVP battery goes, you buy another MVP. For what the cheapest MVP costs, I can buy three high end, high capacity batteries for my VTR.

That's what settled the choice for me. MVPs are nice units but 18650s are relatively cheap. Much cheaper to replace than the MVP.

Hi guys,

I a newbie, have been vaping for a 2 months now, and e cig are not legal in my country :( so tough to get things here.

I started vaping with basic ego, so very less vapour.
at the moment I am vaping at Ego twist battery with Prontank mini, and recently got my new Vamo 5 on this again I am using Protank mini and Iclear 30s.

will start working with Mod singray X in next couple of days with tank Plume veil, also getting my new tanks aerotank mega and protank 3.

so that is what is going on in my vaping life.

Question:

It is extremely difficult to buy batteries here not available, so my solution what I did was get the batteries from a laptop battery 6cell battery I got 6 good batteries now which I think will work with vamo 5 well as vamo 5 has hardware to control the voltage, but these I don't know if are protected or not so it is not a good idea to put it in Mod this is what I learned from threads, what shall I do then for the mod, has anyone used unprotected batteries with there MOD.

need advise guys.

Regards,

Rhino.

Welcome to the forums, Rhino!
I love Dubai! I've been there many times, though there has been a lot of growth since I was there last... I would love to visit there again!
Laptop batteries are a bad idea... you have no idea what they are, or what their specs are.
If e-cigs are not legal in Dubai, how are you getting your e-cigs? I assume online? You can get the batteries the same way.
I would definitely NOT use the laptop batteries in a stingray... that's a mech mod and has NO built in protection. You should be able to order a couple of Sony VTC5's online and those will be good in your new mod. You still need to be careful with your coils in the Plume Veil though... check the resistance with an ohm meter before you put it on your Stingray and make sure there are no shorts. Stay safe, my friend and come back to the forums with any questions you may have... this is a very friendly place and we will try to help you!

*edit* Sorry for threadjacking, duckfan!

Problem with the vtr is not all tanks fit. The way the battery game is changing what will the next great thing be in a month then another month after that. Or you could play the how about the 30 watt or 50 watt or even the 100 watt game? Bottom line OP said not much money

Yah but. I thought I'd toss in there's more than one way to look at "not much money". I'm on a tight budget here but the up front was worth it when I figured the long term.

Also, when you're on a budget, you let other people chase "the next great thing" and learn from their experience. Like my iPhone is a 4s, not a... 55z or whatever. :)
