They did not care at all when I went through last year. I had five mods (18650 batteries in each) and atomizers. The 3oz (88ml) of e-liquid in my 3 bottles was in a separate ziplock with other 3oz bottles of cream and shampoo. I checked a bag with a 1/2 liter of e-liquid for my sister. nothing was said and they x-rayed it all. I did put the mods in with all the computer/phone/earphones. Just stay within the 3oz bottle limit and you should be fine. If you are really worried, bring with you a pre-paid priority mail box(the one with "if it fits, it ships" on it) and you can mail it back to yourself. They can not confiscate it, if you you have not gone past the security gate. Have a nice time in Ohio. Or if you are that worried, mail it to yourself in Ohio and save yourself the stress.

All the 3oz bottles must fit into a quart size ziplock, so six or so. Chargers went with all the other electronic gear I had in another ziplock. I mixed the electronics with other electronics in my computer bag. No problem at all.

When I was younger (much), I always looked younger than my age. I was still getting carded at age 27. Just make sure that you have a legitimate ID with you at all times. Make sure of the legal age to smoke/vape in your state and in Ohio. If you are of legal age in your state, but not in Ohio, you may want to mail your equipment to Ohio, rather than taking a chance on carrying it. If you are not of legal age in either state, I don't know that I would take a chance either way.

I literally just got back from a trip. My liquids were in a ziploc which I removed from my carry-on and placed in the plastic bin with all my pocket stuff, and my batteries were all in silicone sleeves, except for the mod I was carrying which had the battery in it. It's really not an issue for travel. And it is 3 oz per bottle, not total, so as mountaingirl pointed out, about 6 bottles in a quart ziploc (I only traveled with one as I only use ~3 ml a day and was only away for a week).

I follow what others have already said with regard to putting mods, atomizers, and liquids in my carry on bag. I have a vape travel kit that includes scissors, tweezers, screwdrivers, and syringes and needles that obviously I will only put in checked luggage.

If you do not have a checked bag to put your sharp objects in, then I think you need to find alternatives unless you want to risk them being confiscated (or mailing them back to yourself). Perhaps you should pre-make the coils that you need, or bring a more TSA-friendly coil jig of some sort, instead of bringing sharp objects in your carry on bag.

EDIT - I see that a checked bag is an option. I'm not familiar with the Coil Master v2, but if it has sharp objects like you say that the TSA might want to prohibit on the flight, then I would put it in your checked bag.

AND I NEED TO KNOW CARRY ON BAG OR PUT IT IN MY CHECK IN BAG??!!!
Put it in your checked bag, just to be on the safe side. The only stuff I had in my carry on was the APVs, batteries, and e-liquids. All my rebuilding stuff went into my checked bag.

Anyone REALLY worried about confiscation
put batteries and ejuice in carryon.........put your mod, w/out batts, into your checked luggage. sharp objects also go in checked luggage.

Buy a few disposables to go on your journey for the day.........that's what i do. Plenty of good disposables like Njoy daily.......very satisfying and perfect for trips.

I "did" have some problems at TSA a year ago with my metal reo....they said it looked disturbing on the xray, so I got the pat down and wand and all that.........but I had my REO user manual with me, etc. and was able to show what it was.

The worst problem I've had is wearing jeans with "bling" on the back pockets. Ladies, do not wear these to travel. You will get wanded and pulled out of line for sure, dunno why, but it happened to me all day long. they said it was something that made the alarms go off

At any rate, I don't have checked luggage anymore. I have a really good carryon that fits just about everything I need for a week or 2 (lightweight high tech outdoor clothing from the north face, marmot, etc. ).
