Hi all,
I just bought the trident atomizer tank and wanted to know what works best for this tank as for the wire and the style wick.
So far I have the

1)tank of course
2)Kanthal A-1 32 awg Resistance Heating Wire - 10 Meter roll
3)2mm Silica wick 100%

The question I have is the the style or brand and the gauge of wire I have correct? Is there a better choice? Also, is the type and style of Silica wick I have correct?
I have done some research and most say get what I have and some say get Nichrome wire and fire wick.
Now the type of wick I have has no fiberglass in it, well supposedly.
So, if someone could give me some pointer on what work best that would be great.
This is my first rebuildable as well as you can't tell... lol! I'm doing some research on how to build it. I see a video by Grim Green who shows the step by step and do s and don't s.

Thanks again to take the time to read this.:)

I don't like nichrome. I use kanthal for all of my coils. 28 gauge is good though you may have trouble getting two coils to fit and not have super low resistance. I don't know what mod you're using or what batteries, but 28g is pretty low resistance and running it in dual coil configuration will require around 8 wraps per side and may not heat up quickly. I used 28g for my single coil builds. Silica is not fiberglass so no worries there. I use XC -116 ceramic wick these days but it's not cheap and silica/ekowool do hold more liquid. Some will suggest that you try cotton but you can't dry burn cotton the way you can silica and ceramic. If you run the cotton dry it will just char and possibly ignite.
