Tobeco Manhattan clone?

Thank you for taking the time to check this thread out. I just recently bought a Tobeco Manhattan Clone from a reputable local vape shop. But I was curious about a few different things. My number one question is why the floating contact pin is not automatic on this version of the clone? Where the floating pin should be, there is a small brass screw that you have to adjust manually in order for the mod to fire correctly. It also takes away the ability to adjust how close to flush you can get your rda. I've noticed about the same amount of space no matter what rda I put on it, but I would still like some way to adjust it just a little bit. My second question, is will it vent when needed? I saw a few videos of the original Manhattan venting under pressure, despite reading about how it doesn't vent, but has anyone ever tested the tobeco clone to see if it would vent? The mod hits like a champ. Much better than my hcigar nemesis and patriot clone, and I'm just using an igo W with it. So that's a good sign. I'm just curious about a few design changes that stray from the original, and even many other companies version of the clone.

I just bought one myself from a reputable local shop. I also have/had an a close to a 1:1 clone. I feel ya on having the not flush atty and it not looking clean I think it's a Tobecco thing, on my 1:1 Manhattan clone I've put my Tobh, Plume, Nimbus, Patriot, and my Doge. None of them sat flush. On the real Manhattan, the attys don't sit flush due to heat transfer to the mod (so I've been told, don't quote me). As for venting, mine vents, I just open up the top and blow into the mod, didn't have to force too much air.
