Hi everyone, this is my first 'new thread' post so if I'm not doing things by the SOP, please forgive me. :( I started vaping just 2 weeks ago, and much to my surprise, I was not that interested in finding a good tobacco flavor. The fruity mixes, chocolate, Lucky Charms, and sweeter juices are what kept me off analogs. Has anyone else found this true, or was it easier to stick with vaping the tobacco flavors when you first started? It seems so backwards to me :)

Initially, I thought it was a better route to start with tobacco flavors, but recently I've been thinking the opposite.
It is impossible to recreate the burning taste of tobacco in liquid form as of date, so you may get the flavor of the tobacco but not the burning ash taste which results in majority of the people who try vaping to give up and go back to the cancer sticks. Now I recommend newbies to start with anything besides tobacco vapes.
but if they insist, I recommend RY4 which to me is something in between.

I have realized only after having gone through some tobacco flavors that I will never get the same taste I used to get from the analogs. Probably because of the burnt taste from the latter which is never going to be possible with the e-liquids. When I started vaping I always used to wonder how people like fruity flavors. I personally do not like to eat sweets and I guess the prejudice came from there. But then a fellow vaper here from the forums sent me a few fruit flavors and they have sort of grown on me. To the extent that I now like those flavors more than the tobacco ones ;)

I've been vaping sweet flavors because I haven't found a good tobacco flavor yet. I've placed a few orders for tobacco so hopefully I'll find one soon.

Perhaps that's my problem....there are so many variations and it tends to get overwhelming at times. I sometimes think "what did I get myself into?!?"

After going through several bottles of different "best tasting tobacco" flavors in the first few months of vaping, i gave up my search and found myself vaping vanilla or fruity based e-liquids. I only on occasion use a menthol tobacco (ice box from vaporbeast) when im out drinking.

id put that 18mg in a drawer or cabinet. it may just need to be steeped if its bothering you that bad. come back to it in a few weeks and it might be a lot better. lookup "steeping" to know more...

Hi, I am in the Nashville area also. There is a Tennessee thread here that in the last two pages of it lists at least 3 or 4 vape shops close to you that you can go and try the juices to find flavors you like before you buy them.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tennessee-vapinteers/229015-nashville-vapers.html

The thread is not as active as I thought it would be. There is also a link to a Facebook group that has meets. I don't do Facebook so you will have to check that out.

I started a little over 2 weeks ago and got a bunch of different juices from several vendors. I found my favorite is a tobacco with some sweet in it. That's what did it for me. The sweets and coffees and fruits I can only vape for a very short period of time, not all day.

I find it fasinating that it seems to be so different for so many people, some tobaccos work, others the sweets and fruits. It is wonderful to have so many choices. Good luck and welcome to ECF. Check out that thread and your local vape shops. If you can find a few you really like you will end up saving a lot of time and money on your juice hunt.
