Tobacco Flavored Concentrates - What's - What?

What I am trying to do in this thread is to match up a lot of the different brands of tobacco concentrate flavors to the matching cigarette, cigar and pipe brands. I would especially appreciate matching up the Chinese tobacco flavor labels like Hangsen and DeKang into their component flavors in English. Please don't quote the whole post, just add a comment and I will repost this list about every ten entries. When the thread stops getting hits for a few days I'll post a final listing that members of the Forum can refer to, especially newbies. I know when I first started DIY I was very confused. So maybe this will help others thinking of getting into DIY.

Please don't hesitate to correct the list if you think it's wrong and add anything you like as long as it's correct. A lot are self explanatory and there are many duplicates from different vendors with different names for the same flavor. Singular flavor names only, and no vendor juices please.

Don't forget Coumarin Pipe Tobacco from flavor west =) One of my all time favorite flavors. A vanilla pipe tobacco that has an exhale arome exactly like the traditional coumarin pipe tobacco.

Please don't hesitate to correct the list if you think it's wrong and add anything you like as long as it's correct. A lot are self explanatory and there are many duplicates from different vendors ( TFA, FA, Capella, LA, NF, FW, DK, Hng, Inawera, TP. EcX SS ) with different names for the same flavor.

This can be a bit confusing but to simplify things a bit, know that there are only a few types of tobacco leaf. Virginia, Burley, Turkish, ( Oriental ) Latakia, Perique, Conneticut - Canadian Broadleaf, Carolina, Cohiba and Cojito are the major leaves. Everything else is based on position ( Bottom, Middle & Top ) leaf.. Flavoring and Processes like cavendish, sun dried, fire and flue cured, etc.

I too have been researching tobacco flavor names, and I ran across this from a Dekang Liquid vendor in China.

Where are you getting Dekang concentrates from? All I've ever seen so far are dekang mixed juices.
In any event, I too was looking to get a handle on concentrate names, especially Chinese flavors. It seems to me that the flavor concentrates I have seen which are not attributed as being Hangsen or non-Chinese mostly have names that sound very much like Dekang names.

Regardless, sorry I ruined your thread. Btw, the concentrate from RTS called Type K Original is not a menthol but rather what I might call "Kent", while what they call Type K Menthol is what I'd call "Kool". Not that it's relevant as I'm sure the K Type in your list is something completely different than either.

I think you might be correct on the K for Kent. I'll look into it and change the list if that's the case. There seems to be the same claim on the M- type also. You didn't ruin the thread, if you had I would have asked a mod to delete your post. Every bit of info is good to have, especially for newbies, so no problem.
