The noisy cricket mechanical parallel box mod

Does anybody know how the noisy cricket box mod is? I just dont understand how could it be so nice for the price its going for. I know it runs parallel 18650 batteries and with that much power I want to make sure it's safe. I have some great hi amp batteries so I know I'm safe there. Just figured I would post this on here and ask before I order one.

Actually, it runs in series so that is 8+ volts to any coil you build. I have one and use it regularly, but I only use it with 2.0 ohm single coils in an RDA. I first built a .8 dual and found it was way too warm for my liking. I mean 1 second pulls cloud chasing on a Velocity mini.

I'm keeping it around it my regulated box mods ever die.......

It also is made only for those atomizers whose connectors stick out far enough as it touches directly to the battery. There is no forgiveness with this mod and is not for beginners who don't understand battery safety or ohm laws.

IIRC, they are selling for around $5 at some places on the net now. If you are concerned about having enough mods that will alst after these new rules go into to play, you should probably pick up a couple of them and leave them in the box, new, locked in a safe. Pull them out when you are ready. I run mine around 1 ohm, which is around 65 watts. It's well built, but as @Hdvir said (or implied), "It's dangerous if you don't know what you are doing."

A guy at the vape shop (employee) told me he thinks they are being dumped because there is no way in hell that thing will ever pass FDA approval. It's a time bomb.
