Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted but I have a quick question. MVS is now selling the CE2 Plus. This is in addition to the ultimate CE2 they are already carrying. The price is an extra 10 cents per 5 back which is neglible. My question is this: Will the inner seal on the new plus model be removable?

I really like the current CE2 model for its ease of use, not having to syringe fill and the ability to clean it. The new model however, looks almost as if they are trying to prevent removing this seal. Has anyone used these? I've attached at link here:

Also, wanted to mention that if you haven't order from MVS, these guys are top notch. Excellent service and real good carto/battery and accessories prices.

Yes it can be cleaned but it's not quite as easy as a CE2. Below is link to taking it apart and cleaning it. I haven't gone that advanced in cleaning mine as I don't want to risk cracking the tube.

All I do is unscrew the top and reach down in it with some tweezers or whatever fits and pull the seal up enough to see the coil. Then I rinse it out, blow the excess water out and do a dry burn. Then get the seal started over the center tube and insert the mouth piece to push it back down in place.

I still prefer the CE2, much easier to work with and clean and last me for months on avg. Both CE3s I've tried have a stiffer draw, even when using a regular 510 adapter which I'm not a fan of.

the seals can be removed for cleaning but can be a pain to get the seals out, while they looked promising they were not anything like the last revision of ce2's i get a plastic taste even with dry burning before adding juice and they gurgle worse than anything i have tried before the drip tip still allows for juice to get up and around the center stem

however i have had a few that i can put the old small ring in and that seems to stop the gurgles and leaking

Nomoresh, this is not a stardust. Completely different carto.

My bad, my eyes saw CE4 for some reason and I hadn't been drinking.

But yeah the new Ce2s can be cleaned the only difference is the new style seal which I usually toss and just use the flat ones anyway. It's kind of a pain to get the new style seal out and put back in if you want to reuse them but it's not that much different. I just use tweezers to grab the nozzle part of it and gently work it out.
