Just recently got into DIY and bought kiwi and blueberry flavors from a local shop. I vaped both (after steeping for sometime ofcourse) and it seems that both need something more. I've heard that TFA is the best for flavors and I was thinking of ordering 5-6 flavors at the same time. What would you recommend are the best flavors for single flavor vapes and would go well with each other if I decide to mix them? Anything other than tobacco

I suggest reading through some of the TFA dedicated thread. As Bill says "99% of TFA flavors are incomplete, almost all them require you to add something to get the flavor you are after." Since you seem to prefer fruity flavors I suggest you pick up a couple more fruits, Strawberry and Raspberry (which added at low percents helps bring out fruit flavors and kill "perfume taste") and then you will want a couple creams and sweeteners, Vanilla Swirl, Sweet Cream, TFA Cotton Candy (sweetener), or Ethyl Maltol. Also with the current blueberry you have, most recipes will call to add some Blueberry(Extra), which helps bring the blueberry taste to the front. If you get those 6 flavors + the two you have, there are about 1000 different recipes you can try on here :) Most of your juices will be broken down into 2 categories:
Primaries: Fruit flavors you want to be dominate (10-15% total generally, but each flavor varies)
Secondaries: These are flavors that enchance your primaries, so low amounts of creams, sweeteners, and secondary fruits (5-10% total)

Hope I could be of some help, my first shipment of flavors arrives this week, so up to this point all my knowledge comes from reading through thousands of posts on here.

This seems like solid advise in my short experience. All of my favorite fruit recipes have 3+ ingredients.

And for anyone else looking for an answer to my thread, this is the best post/blog I could find here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...54-few-my-recipes-collected-porksmuggler.html

Bill, if you're reading this, I'd like you to know that you're a Godsend. His recipes are perfect for me since he claims that all his recipes are 'mix and vape'. All that talk of weeks of steeping really scares a new DIY'er away

Yah Bill's blog is very helpful, along with a couple others around here. If you post in the TFA dedicated thread you can be certain Bill will be along soon to help you :) Once I get going with these flavors I plan on ordering another round so I can more of his recipes. Heard amazing things about his "Cream Fantastico" and you can blend it with pretty near any "Fruit" flavor.

I haven't found many flavors from any manufacturer that i really like on their own,but 1 from Tfa that i used by itself as my adv for quite a while is vanilla bean gelato. If you like a good vanilla flavor, give that one a try, nice deep vanilla taste to it.
I may give that a try today. Do you happen to remember what % of the vanilla bean gelato that you used? Thanks!

5% works for me....thanks. I know how it is getting burnt out on a particular recipe/flavor. The vanilla custard I make is fantastic, but I have been vaping it nonstop for a few months now, and recently even dripping with it, and I really need a change. Something a little less sweet and rich should do the trick.

Thanks again.

Could you tell me what flavors you ordered Campbell?

For my first round of flavorings I ordered all TFA, wish I could have gotten a few more, but the other costs of equipment to start up limited me:
Strawberry
Lemon
Raspberry(Sweet)
Blueberry(Extra)
Watermelon
Hawaiian Drink
Vanilla Swirl
Sweet Cream
French Vanilla Cream
Ethyl Maltol
Cheesecake (Graham Crust)

For my next round of orders I plan on adding at a minimum: Grape, Cotton Candy, Strawberry(Ripe), Apple, Banana Cream, Pineapple, Bavarian Cream, Sour, Sweetener and Koolada. Of course depending on what I make between now and then, and which recipes I find, it could change a bit. Trying to basically get most of the flavors off of Bill's Blog of "Basic Flavorings" that are used in 99% of his juices.
