Hi, today we take a look at Thc Tauren rda Vortex 30 sent to me by ThunderHead Creations. I will examine in this Test each of the features that distinguish this item. I hope that at the end of this reading you can have understood this product, and therefore decide whether to invest in it or not. As always, my opinions are free and based on my personal experience.

► Thc Tauren Rda Vortex 30; Packaging:
The elegant black cardboard packaging shows and highlights the various gold and silver writings. On the front we find; the THC logo and the name of the vaporizer, a little further down there is a transparent window that allows you to see the product inside. at the bottom appears the acronym "Dual Drip Thrill 30"

On the back; The golden THC logo, indications on the contents, warnings, trademarks and legal logos. On the remaining sides they are reproduced with enlarged fonts; the THC logo with the writing Thunder Head Creations in gold, finally there are also; Scrat&Check, QR-Code and an adhesive label containing the color indications of this item.

► Thc Tauren Rda Vortex 30; Introduction:
THC sent me for this review a sample of Tauren RDA Vortex 30 in the beautiful Silver Black color, enriched on the external sleeve by the Tauren logo and writing in silver. The large low-profile Drip Tip is very solid in its recess and through its large hole you can let your e-liquid flow inside. You can also pour a lot of e-liquid because as we will see later this gigantic RDA does not suffer from leaks thanks to the airflow positioned at the top and above all thanks to deep and capacious tanks.

► Thc Tauren Rda Vortex 30; Honeycomb structure holes:
On the external sleeve we find 48 holes on one side and another 48 holes on the opposite side, for a total of 96 holes. The airflow regulation is very simple, in fact with the Tauren mounted on the Mod just grab the bell and turn clockwise to open the holes, and turn counterclockwise to close the holes.

► Thc Tauren Rda Vortex 30; Disassembly and cleaning:
Tauren Rda Vortex 30 is essentially composed of 4 macro elements visible in the photo below, the peculiarity of this RDA is to have the external sleeve integral with the Top Cap (single piece), so inside the sleeve there is a steel element, which is rotatable (Inner Chamber) to regulate the air flow, this piece is tied to the Deck to allow rotation and consequent regulation of the air flow. Inner Chamber can be removed from above by pressing on it with a screwdriver through the hole that houses the Drip Tip.

On the bottom of Tauren Rda Vortex 30 we find the THC logo, the batch number, the writing ThunderHead Creations, brand and logo. In the center there is the classic gold-plated Pin that can be replaced with the perforated Pin for squonk that is present in the spare parts inside the package.

► Thc Tauren Rda Vortex 30; Inner Chamber:
The Inner Chamber is the internal element of the bell that I mentioned before, remember? This rotating element effectively dissipates heat thanks to its considerable thickness and allows you to direct the air flow coming from the 96 external holes towards the coils in a targeted and enveloping way. The slots obtained on the Inner Chamber match perfectly on the Deck when the bell is joined to the Deck, this connection creates a barrier to leaks. But it also creates a solid air flow regulation system, simply (as I said before) by rotating the atomizer.

► Thc Tauren Rda Vortex 30; Deck:
It is a rather thick and naturally large steel element, on the sides there are double O-rings on which the external sleeve slides during rotation, furthermore these O-rings are effective against leaks, even just one would be enough! Also in the photo you can see the Allen screws to tighten the legs of the coils, and the side and bottom internal air vents to wrap the coils evenly.

This massive postless deck features two incredibly large and 10.5mm deep wells! The E.liquid capacity of this RDA is truly impressive, if used with Squonk Mods you can afford to squeeze the bottle just once to vape for a long time before the cotton dries out.

► Thc Tauren Rda Vortex 30; Build Deck:
Thunderhead has included in the package two triple core Clapton coils, Ni80 material with 3mm internal diameter, these coils give a final value of about 0.35. However, given the considerable size of the deck and the two wells, you can certainly build and install Coils of larger diameter if you want. Thc also includes a practical Coils Cutter in the package.

Using the supplied tool I cut the legs of the coils to about 6mm, then after unscrewing the side screws I let them fall into the holes and tightened the screws, then I aligned the coils and initialized them with short activations on the Fire button. Considering the huge wells, I decided to cut the cotton a little longer than the external perimeter of the deck.

► Thc Tauren Rda Vortex 30; Final conclusions:
The package includes several spare parts, and once you have opened the box, the Vortex 30 presents itself with all its structural solidity and its grandeur. Its style is aggressive and really pleasant. Of course you have to find a mod suitable to house it, preferably a large and powerful Dual Battery Mod! Initially I struggled to extract the drip-Tip and the Inner Chamber, this is because the manufacturing tolerances are very precise, however, once the O-rings were lubricated, everything started to flow perfectly. During my tests, I used the Vortex 30 on an old Aspire Skystars 200W. With a power of 70-80W and with the airflow completely open everything works well, the clouds are giant and the flavor is good without dispersion. The maximum airflow seems really well calculated as the flavor does not suffer any dispersion, by adjusting the flow more narrowly you can increase the throat hit as you like, but above all this RDA never gets hot thanks to the quality and generous thickness of the materials used. Why can I recommend the Thunderhead Creations Tauren Vortex 30 RDA? Simply because I believe the perfect balance between innovation and ease of use has been achieved. The couplings are precise, with top quality materials that keep the heat at very low levels, the airflow is very silent and does not disperse flavor even at maximum opening. The deep 10.5mm liquid wells ensure long vaping sessions. This is definitely an excellent RDA vaporizer that should not be missing from your collection.
