For full disclosure, I received the following three bottles from Tetra Vape free of charge for the purpose of review: Mango, Kiwi, and Passion Fruit – all at 6mg and 100% VG, with no alcohol smell.

Upon arrival I dripped these in a Patriot clone with a single 1.4 Ohm micro coil wicked with sterilized cotton, and after a two week steep I dripped them in a Trident with a dual coil setup using 26 gauge Kanthal weighing in a .35 Ohms. Neither Mango nor Kiwi tasted like Mango or Kiwi to me, while Passion Fruit definitely had an authentic passion fruit flavor, though I found it a bit on the weak side and I prefer my passion fruit to be sweeter. Someone who prefers more delicate or subtle flavors (Alice in Vapeland fans, for example) might love the strength, but I prefer big, bold flavors. Curiously, all of the flavors had a certain "dryness" to them on the exhale that I'm not sure how to describe otherwise - it's a feel rather than a taste, I guess. Also, they all had some sort of natural, earthy, or herbal sort of flavor - apart from their actual flavor description...especially the Kiwi, for me. Maybe this is because they use natural extracts: "...every flavor is extracted from the actual crop; i.e. the banana flavor is extracted from real banana."

Regardless, while the flavors didn’t exactly hit it out of the park for me, the vapor production was excellent – as one would expect from 100% VG e-juice; thus, I wasn’t impressed by the vapor production, it simply delivered what was expected. What did impress me, however, was the “mouth feel.” By this I mean the feeling of thick, substantial vapor in the mouth. I have vaped liquid from a good number of different vendors in my 8 ½ months since I quit smoking, and there is only one other liquid, in my opinion, that comes close in terms of this “mouth feel” - Organic Kona Coffee Milkshake by Virgin Vapor (I’m not sure how to describe it without this comparison, really). With both claiming “organic” juices, I’m not sure what it is that gives these this “mouth feel,” but I am a HUGE fan. I don’t care about throat hit, but a thick “mouth feel” is really satisfying to me, and others who can relate to what I’m talking about might find Tetra Vape to be a great company to check out in this respect. It could be that they do not use palm based VG – from their website:

“We use palm-free, organic vegetable glycerin that is extracted from soybeans.”

It kinda makes me wonder to what extent the VG that I use for DIY could really make a substantial difference. I'd like to see Tetra Vape, or someone else, sell a variety of VG bases made from different organic vegetables - I don't know much about that, but it might be something to explore as e-liquids evolve.

So…if you appreciate a great “mouth feel” from an e-liquid, as well as the sort of vapor production that one would expect from 100% VG juice, check out Tetra Vape at Tetra Vape – Welcome; they have a sample pack, too, at an affordable price: 3 Sampler Set – Tetra Vape.

Additionally, I think that it's really cool that Tetra Vape is setting themselves apart in terms of using more natural and sustainable ingredients. This is something that some folks can really appreciate and might want to support, so if you dig this about Tetra Vape, you might want to give them a shot. From the owner:

"Having grown up in the heart of wine country with the best foods and organic agriculture all around me, I naturally was drawn towards agriculture and what went into the great foods that we all enjoy. My focus in college was sustainable agriculture and it really opened my eyes to the world of how our foods are created and the right and the wrong ways to do it."

Frankly, this is why I wanted to try Tetra Vape in the first place...
