I know that there has been a big boom in e cigs in the US but has anybody noticed the supplies are way way down from all suppliers I see e smokey treas got more liquid. But others have no stock of pin styles and liquid Janty got there order and are sending all back orders out today. I just find it strange that all the suppliers are out of stock

Two possibilities. More and more people are finding out about it and clearing out suppliers faster than they can keep the stuff in stock. People are ordering a lot more then they usually would because of a possible ban by FDA.
Or suppliers are having trouble getting stuff from China either because it gets turned away by customs or the Chinese can't produce the stuff fast enough for every supplier to get what they need.

Personally, I think it's all of the above, culminating in a perfect storm of frustration among consumers (and suppliers, I suspect).

I know I've ordered A LOT more supplies than usual, so I am part of the problem.

I agree. I'd be stockpiling like crazy if I could afford to. My ideal "emergency supply" would be 500ml of Menthol 24mg, 20 batteries, 2 USB passthroughs, and about 40 atomizers.

Everyone seems to be stockpiling, here too I've placed more orders in the last few weeks so dealers can't keep up, haven't heard too many customs issues so don't think that's the cause.

I bought a Smoking Everywhere Gold on vacation in Grapevine Texas a few days ago. Felt bad that I got ripped off on the price, but it seems like the unit itself is decent according to various posts. I'm going to buy a bottle of Camel E-Liquid from Totally Wicked (after reading posts/reviews from all of you helpful, friendly people). The carts that came with the SE seem to dry out quickly (each cart is a full pack... yeah right!). I was wondering, do I need to buy empty, refillable carts or can I go ahead and drip into the vaped-out carts that came with it?

If I do have to buy new, empty, refillable carts, which ones (from Totally Wicked) are the right size for the Smoking Everywhere Gold? Thanks again for all your unwitting help so far. I now look forward to communicating with you directly, as opposed to lurking.

Thanks for the quick answers! Yeah, they tried to "sell" me on all that stuff, but honestly, I had already sold myself and it was the first opportunity to try out and purchase an e-cig. I'm planning on using the e-cig to quit smoking. Sort of like the "step-down" method for nic patches. I have to admit, so far I've been smoking less "analogs" since I've bought it. That and analogs tasty nasty going back to them even after brief use of the vaporizer.

Looks like the next thing I'll have to start buying is atomizers. 40 bucks from SE, I don't think so! Good thing I saw atomizers on Totally Wicked for $13 plus shipping.

When I get around to buying a second (or more) atomizer, once again, which one is compatable with the SE Gold? I will never buy anything from Smoking Everywhere again... their product may be decent, but their prices are hellacious! Oh, SE also told me they'd give me a LIFETIME Warranty... of course on their site it says 1 year. They'll tell you anything to make a sale.

the shortage starts at the beginning of the chain the chinese factories.. they cant keep up its as simple as that.. it was brought to a head with the chinese new year holiday shutdown and has never really recovered since..

Bit like the truckers petrol strike here a few years ago. If everyone carried on only buying what they needed the pumps would have been full , but people panicked and started filling their cars vans and jimmy cans creating the shortage problems themselves, the pumps ran dry not because of the strikes but because of hysteria.

Those adomizers from TW super mini will work with SE 3.0 I have used them with my SE 3.0 GOLD

I have been stocking like crazy too. I have about 600ml of liquid 15 901 atomizer 15 more ordering today. Got all these for my trusty screwdriver.

Keep your eyes open for people in your area too. Get to know them, and if hard times hit, you'll have some locals that you could possible trade with.

Yep, I got 10 more atomizers in todayl\. I have not a problem finding supplies at all. I only have 901's and an S/D. so there always is part available and I am now up to 1000ml's of juice.............

Huh? I am surprised by the number of posts that have this type of theme. My moneys spends just like anyone else's. I am not sure it is my responsibility to ensure everyone else's supplies. Especially if I was a supplier, I would hope to sell out each and every day. I would not matter to me if I was being cleaned out by 3 people or 300...........

As an aside, I have not experienced any problem obtaining batteries, atomizers, juice, etc....... This could be because all I have are 901's and an S/D. Just another argument for going with those models. ALthough if everyone did, then there probably would be an actual shortage....

All I simply meant is, yes, while I'm a supplier and yes I like to provide, I would really just watch what is going on, not everyone is having supply issues, and I almost think in a way a group mob frenzy has been going on due to the FDA scares.

I know many suppliers that have had issues, but also many who have not. Your money is your money and feel free to spend it! I just don't want people to think I'm saying "come buy my liquid before everything is gone, the end is nigh.. etc etc etc."
