Hi, today let's take a look at Suorin Ace. In this Test I will examine each of the characteristics that distinguish this item. I hope that by the end of this reading you may have understood this product, and therefore decide whether to invest in it or not. As always, my opinions are free and based on my personal experience.

The rigid cardboard packaging is white and on the front side it shows; an image of the device, the manufacturer's logo & brand, warnings. On the back of the package there are; legal logos & trademarks, content, scratch & check, hologram, and finally warnings.
On the remaining sides of the package, you can read; The recommendation not to sell the product to minors, other general warnings and the color of this sample which is Silver with carbon effects.

► Suorin Ace; First Impressions:
Suorin ACE Pod Kit is a rather compact device, elegant and with a strange appearance but with fine finishes. This Pod kit is very ergonomic and is especially suitable for new vaper's who don't want complications. The body of the Suorin ACE kit is robust and light and is built in aluminum alloy, has a single activation button but also includes the very comfortable automatic extraction system. With a power output of 15W and a built-in 1,000 mAh battery it can accompany you all day before recharging.
Suorin ACE Pod Mod uses an integrated 1.0Ω coil in its refillable cartridge. The cartridge has an e-liquid capacity of 2ml and is perfectly compatible with Suorin Shine! For this test I was sent a sample of Suorin ACE in Silver color, on the panels the silver paint is crossed by decorations in carbon fiber for a very pleasant and refined combination, there are also 11 other colors available for choice, all very beautiful, from the simplest to those with other graphic combinations in carbon style or others in camo style. ACE panels have a design that is domed in the center, and rounded and tuned towards the sides. There are also a couple of small, minimally invasive black identifying scriptures. I would say that ACE with these measures is pleasing to the eye and is also very ergonomic
► Suorin Ace; Led & Fire:
The narrow sides of my ACE Mod are painted a darker shade of gray, and at the apex of one of these sides is a sturdy attachment for attaching a possible separately purchased necklace.
The Fire button allows you to turn the mod on / off with 5 clicks, and if you want you can use the button to vape, it is very comfortable to operate, because it has an elongated, slightly protruding shape and is easily accessible by the fingers. The Fire button integrates a small LED light that performs several surveillance functions.
The ACE LED is in charge of monitoring the battery level during the vape and while recharging, as follows:
• The Green LED light is on when the battery charge level is between 70% and 100%
• The Blue LED light is on when the battery charge level is between 30% and 70%
• The Red LED light is on when the battery charge level is 30% or less
The LED also sends luminous notifications based on the possible intervention of one of the following five safety functions integrated on Ace Mod:
• Short Circuit protection
• Overcharge protection
• Low Voltage protection
• Time out 6s
• Open Circuit protection
► Suorin Ace; USB-C:
The ACE charging port is protected by a cap with a metallic finish that seals it perfectly and keeps dust and impurities away. Through the Type-C cable supplied with ACE it is possible to fully recharge the 1.000mAh of the integrated battery in a time of about 50 minutes which is very good, only 10 minutes more than Suorin Shine which has a 700mAh battery.
► Suorin Ace; AFC/Pod compartment:
At the bottom of the compartment there are two powerful magnets that hold the cartridge firmly. There are also two spring-loaded contact pins and two gold-plated contacts for better electrical transfer to the resistance. Finally, on the floor of the compartment there is the automatic activation sensor of the puff which is intelligently raised to avoid filling up with condensation that could form over time. The AFC system has a fixed type of operation and is regulated only by the amount of air flow that penetrates between the joints present in the perimeter surrounding the cartridge when it is inserted into the compartment. Then the air flow is channeled into a hole on the bottom of the cartridge, then the flow reaches the resistance and now vaporization can begin.
► Suorin Ace; Cartridge:
Obviously on the bottom of the cartridge there are two magnets and two pins that are mirrored to those present in the compartment of the Mod. The ACE cartridge contains 2ml of e-liquid which are refillable through a hole which is covered with a silicone cap. The Driptip has a duck bill shape which is very ergonomic for the lips. The spout is made of dark-colored PCTG but it is quite transparent, so once the cartridge is inserted into the device the lower part which is clear and more transparent is unfortunately hidden. To view the liquid contained in the tank, it is convenient to turn the device upside down to view it through the spout and in the end this is a fairly quick and painless maneuver.
► Suorin Ace; Vaping test & final conclusions:
Also for this test I used the same e-liquid which is composed of VG50 / PG50 + mexico concentrated flavor + 3mg / ml of Nic. The air flow of ACE is of the MTL type slightly more contrasted than Suorin Shine which was tested by me at the same time. With a constant power of 15W (2W more than Shine) ACE is therefore slightly more performing even towards other parameters such as; clouds, hit and flavor. The qualities of the ACE puff are also measured as; absence of spitting, silent suction and the right degree of heat. Furthermore, the Mesh coil which is integrated in the ACE cartridge would be an evolution of the previous Shine. The ACE coil maintains the previous resistive value and also the breathable material which is a qualitative 100% organic cotton. The only flaw is the lack of a replacement cartridge in the ACE Kit, while I remember that the spare cartridge is present in the Shine Kit.
So would I recommend ACE to new vaper's? Definitely yes, because everything works very well, the Mod is beautiful, it is pocketable and has a very affordable price. I recommend it also since there is full compatibility with suorin Shine cartridges; if I were you I would think about buying both of these very good pod devices by Suorin.
