I just got a subtank mini and built the RBA deck for use on a TC mod. I am thoroughly impressed by the flavor and vapor that gives. I've always felt that building your own deck gives far superior results to premades. I haven't used the OCC heads and may not. The RBA is hitting on all cylinders for me.

I use both, and I like both equally honestly. I actually really love the occs, especially the new vertical .5 ohm, but I also really love the rba. I have 2 rba plus, and 4 subtanks altogether, so I just use a couple occs in the 2 that don't use the rba in. Look up a couple videos and just make sure you're wicking it correctly and everything.

I use the Plus and build a vertical coil for it. I used the Rip Trippers video for a Delta 2 as inspiration. If you can get some good cotton like Cotton Bacon or real organic stuff, do it. It really makes a difference to me. You can wick maybe 100 coils for a $5 bag. The savings of building coils instead of buying them is pretty big when you crunch the numbers.

In my experience they're about the same, if I build a .5 coil it vapes about the same as the OCC at the same wattage. Where they differ is, I can run my built/rba coils at a higher wattage with no dry hits/more flavor/ more clouds and longer pulls.
That's with the original RBA section, which I have modified to wick better. Now I build around .2-.4 with 24-26ga kanthal and wick with rayon/cellucotton with the wattage around 25w-40w depending on the juice and the pg/vg. This is hands down far better than the OCC in every aspect for me, and last just as long as the OCC if not longer.

Keep in mind my RBAs are modified. However, even before I modified the 2 I own, the RBAs were still better. They just couldn't keep up with wicking.
