I just purchased a 500ml bottle of 60mg Nic from RTS Vapes.

If it's like any other unflavored PG Nic I have bought from RTS Vapes in the past, it will come in a white colored plastic bottle.

For long term storage in the freezer, would it be better to put it in a new glass Mason Jar or just leave it in the plastic bottle it comes in?

Thanks ...

Wouldn't the Boston round style bottle be preferred in order to keep the surface area exposed to oxygen minimized? Also, split into multiple smaller bottles so the entire amount doesn't need to be disturbed each time some is removed for current use.

^^^ That.

It's probably more important for super long term storage. (Not that any of are concerned with that of late...)

My other issue with using mason jars is there is too much potential for mess, especially if you are storing high mg liquid. That large flat cap combined with the metal screw on cap - too much surface area to get nic on where you don't want it. If you nudge a Boston round in your work area it's highly unlikely anything will spill out. But that large open mouth on a Mason jar? You have potential to slop a lot of it out of the jar during an oopsie. Got forbid a Mason jar accidentally got knocked over when the lid was off.

I use a 1/2 pint ball jar w/zink lid. Keep in a closed upright closet. Don't know what that will do to the Nic Content but I do notice it turns a very light purple color.

Tried Storing all I had in the freezer and had to wait for it to warm up before I could use it, to thick. Didn't like having to do that so I went to keeping a small amount in the dark closet, the rest in the freezer.

Also, VG is very thick. I put it into the micro and nuke it for 6-8 seconds. This makes it about as runny as PG. No problem yet

I have my nic from WL still in that plastic bottle for about a week now and want to move to glass myself, but always been worried about the glass cracking in the freezer, I have some 4 oz Boston Rounds are they really crack resistant to the freezer? or do I have to wrap them again to protect the glass?

The Boston Bottle I have Used are Pretty Stout. But Anything Glass can Break.

I don't Drink Anymore. But over the Years, I have Probably Put, Rearranged, Jostled 2,767,483 Beer Bottles in the Frig. Can't Recall one of them Breaking.

If you are concerned about the Clinking together, you could Wrap them in Brown Paper. Or maybe even Small Bubble Bubble Wrap. You could even put them in a Cardboard Box with Packing Peanuts if you want.

Colored boston round would be the best as it limits surface area and light. But a mason jar would trump plastic any day. Just slip an old sock over it to prevent light and protect it from bumps or put it in a cardboard or plastic box in the freezer.

I also use old socks to cover all glass containers in my freezer...no matter what they are holding :)
