Still searching for the elusive CIGAR vape

Well I've tried a few, none hit the spot. I understand nothing can emulate the burning of tobacco, but surely somebody had a strong cigar flavor juice out there?

To be clear, I'm not stopping cigars, just substituting vaping in the house because of I have a grand baby living with us.

I've tried want 2 vape alcazar, Managua, while they have cigar aroma the flavor is not there. I tried a cohbia (yes that's how they spell it) from nuvapor (I think it was) that taste like chemicals only. No discernable flavor per se, just chemicals...yuk.

I have discovered some great tobacco+ sweet flavors which I would have never smoked a flavor cigar before...Havana gold by AVE, ry4 from highbrow, a couple from HHV, not bad but more sweet than tobacco IMHO.

Am I searching for a unicorn? A strong tobacco only cigar vape?

Try the Plume room they have some that taste just like the real deal I just tried their M type but I know that they have another that is even more Cigar like ..I have my humidor stocked with some expensive cigars Which I will keep their till that special occasion ..good luck hope The Plume room works for you..

The House of Liquid has this to say about the barrel used for steeping Guevara Reserve; "Old authentic french Limousine oak barrel used for decades for the storage of Metaxa brandy and recently emptied. The aroma from the opened bottle is fairly mild but it has the unmistakeable, dominant note of tobacco with a supporting tincture of brandy.

As I inhale, a warm, silky smooth wash courses into my mouth and across my tongue. The vapour is thick with umami; brothy with just a suggestion of sweetness. The longer I draw the hotter the coil gets and the sweetness amplifies. I stop drawing and inhale the vapour mixed with fresh air into my lungs and hold my breath for a second or two. At this point, and subsequently as I exhale, my mouth fills with the flavours of a certain woodiness with subtle traces of ash, closely followed by the blossoming of the brandy notes. The flavour provokes a torrent of imagery: bruised roses, a creaking galleon on a calm sea, a well-worn chesterfield chair and ancient manuscripts lying in disarray on a mahogany desk.

The aftertaste is dominated by the brandy and the very slight, not unpleasant flavour of ash. The sample I'm using is only 10mg nicotine strength, so the throat hit is mild. Vapour production is excellent with dense, opaque clouds lasting a good 10 to 20 seconds after I've exhaled.

If I haven't already made myself clear, you should know that I consider this an exceptional e-liquid. House of Liquid have fine tuned the art and science of e-liquid production to an exquisite degree. Vaping it provokes my imagination and my emotions in a way that is very rare and I suspect that this is why they have such a loyal following.

Thanks for the links. The first one is outrageous.... 36 euros which according to xe.com is about $48 USD. That's way too much for an unproven e juice...even if it is 60ml.

"Hecho A Mano" is Spanish and when translated to English renders as "handmade" or "hand crafted". The Cohiba Robusto is a highly desirable type of thick, Cuban cigar that delivers a rich complex of flavour.

The tobacco is smooth and luxurious with a fruity quality which most closely approximates the flavour of apricot. As I hold my breath and then begin to exhale, I discern subtle and fleeting notes of a toasted nuttiness, black pepper, lemongrass and occasionally, what I imagine to be a fusion of cloves and cinnamon. There's a light woodiness at the bottom end that begins with the inhalation and follows through to the aftertaste. The tobacco predominates in the aftertaste alongside the very mild flavour of black pepper. Just a whisper. There's also a mild metallic tang around my forward teeth and gums. I've found, after some experimentation, that to coax the nuances of flavour out of this liquid, it needs to be vaped much like one would smoke a cigar: brief, shallow inhalations which allows for a constant stream of fresh vapour to wash across the taste buds. Unlike the smoking of a cigar, there's no ashiness in the flavour at all.


Several high profile reviewers have likened Hecho A Mano - Cohiba Robusto to RY4 e-liquids. I'm afraid I'll have to beg to differ. I find this liquid to be unashamedly and resolutely tobacco flavoured, unafraid to stand on it's own two feet without the assistance of either vanilla or caramel. This is a hardcore, though entirely accessible tobacco vape that offers a complexity of flavour not often encountered in e-liquids and as such would appeal to anybody who favours a savoury flavour profile, tobacco connoisseurs, or those with an adventurous palate. The Cohiba Robusto is the King of Cigars and BlueprintDK's juice is a worthy homage.

Tark Vemada's Matador is a rich, complex, robustly flavoured e-liquid which deserves and very nearly commands considered and attentive vaping. You will probably find the closest *real cigar* type taste between NETs and WTAs.
