You'll read many comments about how the vapor instantly disappears... a falsehood as I discovered while vaping in the living room at the cottage as we have 2 large skylites in a cathedral clg. In the am. relaxing and vaping on the couch with the sun shining I notice the vapor does not instantly disappear and just hangs in the air for a long, long time. This happens also with unflavored juice. I have a portable humidex (measures humidity) and one time after I woke up I placed it beside the couch and began vaping. After 1 hour the humidity had gone from 55 to 80. I wrote the numbers down, opened the windows for 10 minutes and went out for 2 hours. Came back and the humidity had dropped back down to 55. Vaping, in my opinion, brings about a HUGE increase in humidity and the smell you or your friends are noticing could be the dampness caused by the increase in the humidity of the house and that dampness finding it's way into household fabrics, carpeting, etc.

Has anyone mentioned to you that vaping leaves a stale smell to the home. i had a friend over who does not vape or smoke and he said it was an odd smell after vaping?

I have one particular juice that smells kinda rank in 3rd person. It's a tea flavor, maybe that's part of it. Tea can smell bitter, this one is a bit skunky/uriney (is that a word?). It's one of my favorite juices, but it is the only one my husband really complains about. For a little while he was blaming the dog...but I figured out it wasn't the dog. :(

I do notice a slightly musty smell from time to time, that probably is caused by the humid vapor. I remember when I first started, I always felt like I was in a steam sauna, or I just sprayed myself with one of those mister things to keep you cool - especially when I was in my car. If you have a lot of fabric around, it's probably soaking some of that in - I can totally see how the poor wet dog could get blamed for that kind of funk (poor dog).

I dunno if I've gotten immune to the smell or if it's just with certain flavors, but I do keep a bottle of Febreze around just in case. ;)
