So, for any peeps who have owned a VF Sqounk, remind me of any issues. I just snagged a brand new authentic and need to know the details of what to look out for. I think there were some leakage concerns?

I've been considering getting one as well some time, when I was searching around there were a lot of problems with the grounds on the 510 causing weak battery warnings. Simple fix of sanding under the 510, there's also some video's. Other than that they seem pretty solid.
I had one briefly although I never actually used it. It arrived, I looked it over and promptly sold it.
The bottle was a real pain to deal with and I could see there was major opportunity for internal leakage. I've seen quite a few mentions of liquid leaking out of the USB port.

For the $299 they're asking for; you shouldn't have those issues. Not on my list. I'll spend my money on the Clone for that one
I actually did make a little lanyard for it....it's just a long way to go for a small payoff. I ordered one of the first ones. Had high hopes....Vapinart gladly accepted the return and sent me a Sunbox back. So, it was a win, I suppose.A tampon string on the bottle might help getting it out

Never even used it. I moved it along - needed the coin for another mod.
And how do you like your Sunbox? I almost purchased one from that guy that makes them, but he wanted to sell me a DNA 25 Squonker for more than what I found the Vapor Flask Squonker and it's a DNA 40. And I do like the Vapor Flask Squonker. I have the Clone which is ok but a couple of issues I wasn't pleased with, and the VF real has no issues. I also have a REO Mini 2.1 and it's nice; kind of like driving a Sports Car vs a Buick. Both work but one is going to get you there with all Speed and the other is going to spoil you in comfort.

I have a pair of Sunboxes as well as some Reo's, a Cam-M & a Steamcrave Squonk Box. IMO, there is absolutely no comparison to the Sunbox, you definitely get what you pay for in this regard. The fit & finish, the refinement, everything is that much better in the Sunbox.
Sunbox is really a great mod...25 or 40 w, it doesn't really matter. It all comes down to what you need. It's built to be easy to maintain, fill, clean....all the things that should go into a bottom feeding mod. The REO is an excellent mod. Bullet proof.
I prefer mechanical squonkers....I have some REO's and I have some really high end mechanical squonkers that hit a little harder. They cost a great deal more and aren't readily available, so there's that.
As far as the Vapor Flask Squonk not having any issues...I have to respectfully disagree with you there. The fact that if the 510 decides to leak, juice will pass over the board and the electronics and eventually drain out of the USB port is, in fact, a major issue. I love the idea of the VF Squonk and in theory, it was a great idea. I've been a Vapor Flask fan since their inception...but the Squonk was a fail on many levels. Awkward to fill and clean and electronics subject to juice leakage leading the list.
Glad the Sunbox is working out better. And sorry to hear that VF was a bad experience for you. So far so good and all I can say is that I hope it remains such. I have Rob's Bottle in it and went on with no issues twice so far. The Clone I had a time of it loading the Bottle in it, but not in the VF and I used one of Rob's Bottles in both. And yes indeed the REO's are Bulletproof, and Rob is Cool. Thanks for the heads up on the Sunbox if this VF gives me issues I'll be sure to get one of those.

I think it is amazing from a machining and esthetics perspective.
Is it a hard hitting mod, no. Going to take some time to find the sweet spot.
