I know exactly what you mean with Pluto! That's one reason I could only vape it now and then, it had a harsh bitter taste to it. Almost reminded me of a chewable vitamin!
I'll be heading down there in a few hours, but all I think they have is the old label. I guess I should talk to them about it? I know the Pluto my friend gave me had the newer one, but after going in all I see is the cartoon one.
Space Jam changed their logo in September of 2014. So the juice your B&M has on sale is at least eight months old. I had two old bottles of Space Jam, that were about a year old. One was sealed, and the other had been opened. I noticed that the opened bottle barely had any noticeable remaining aroma. On the other hand, after opening the sealed bottle, I noticed it did have an aroma which was slightly different and somewhat weaker than a fresh bottle. In addition, both juices had darkened in color significantly. I used up the juice I had in the sealed bottle within less than two weeks, and it was fine. I threw out the remaining juice that was in the opened bottle, since it barely had any smell to it.
Based on that, my theory is that
sealed bottles of juice undergo changes in their flavor characteristics, and become weaker over time, to a much slower degree than a bottle that has been opened and exposed to air. The question is, how long does it take for sealed bottles to get to a point where they're no longer vapeable. I guess that depends on a few variables, such as storage conditions and the chemical makeup of the juice. Generally speaking, I would say sealed bottles of juice that are stored in a proper environment are most likely not good to use after a year.
