My girlfriend purchased a South Beach Deluxe kit, for me on Groupon.
$24 for two 808 style batteries;15 tobacco flavored cartos, usb, wall and car charger. Even included a durable hard shell carrying case.
I've passed it along to one of my friends. He needed to quit smoking analogs. I know now, that there are superior products available.
But my intro to vaping started with this. South Beach tried to convince us, to sign up for auto shipment. I had no interest in doing that. The only advantage to auto shipment was free shipping. Months later I did a full search. Saw that V2 and Green Smoke, had also sold their starter kits on Groupon. Also a horrible brand called Victory.
In retrospect, I was happy with the South Beach kit. Ordered a sampler pack. Then a 30 pack of peach, when they had a 40% off sale. I decided I wanted something better. V2 sells adapters and an inexpensive sampler pack. Cost $15 for 10 flavor cartos, including the adapter shipped. Their PG dominant flavors were mostly horrible. vaping V2 pretty much sucked. I felt relieved that wasn't the kit I was gifted! I'm kind of a tech nerd. So I then pulled trigger on the Blu Premium 100 kit. Guy at work has it. Liked the small form factor, blue light and PCC. His referral also save me $10. Love the Johnson Creek flavors. So my final purchase was the Johnson Creek Vea System.
I feel like I've evolved; not only in knowledge of vaping. But in my appreciation of quality e cig products. This forum has provided me with, a gigantic wealth of knowledge. I can't blame anyone for using a mini. I still use mine every day at work!
