Just got in a brand new juice (green apple) and it tastes very horribly like soap, it tastes the way I imagine my kids apple scented shampoo would taste like. I have never come across a "soapy" liquid before and just trying to figure out if its vendor error in washing the equipment, or if its just something common with certain juice types.

Anything I can do to remedy this / or even just make it more tolerable, or should I just let it steep and hope that helps?

If it were me, I'd set it aside for a week to 10 days and try it again. Sometimes steeping will alleviate floral/perfumey notes in a juice. Sometimes it won't though. I've had some that were just bad and weren't going to get better. If after that time period it still tastes bad, then, well, the only thing I can offer to you is we have all been there. Some juices just don't agree with us as individuals.

Well, today I went back to my local store and bought a small bottle of cinnamon, and it had the same soap taste as the other two. I really hate to not support local business, but I can't waste my money on juice that tastes like soap. I'll stick to the vendors on here. I've found a couple of really good juices just from recommendations on this forum.

I am in the middle of a DIY "thing". My second mix tasted soapy and I realized it was a heavy vanilla side to the recipe. Every set of taste buds are partial to certain triggers. I guess it's variety that's the spice of life or in this case, the soap of life. Keep looking for your "go to" flavor and then stock up. It's either that or start to DIY and mix your own.
