SMPL MECHANICAL MOD --- Anyone heard of or used one?

My grandson came by today and he just picked up the "SMPL MECHANICAL mod" for about $40.00 at a local Albuquerque Vape shop. It is rather compact and non-telescoping - uses only 18650 battery. Bottom fire button - magnetic I believe.

By chance has anyone had experience with this make / model? I like the compact style but I have not heard of the make / model so my curiosity is up a tad.

It's a clone of the Epic Design SMPL... the tube and top cap are one piece. The battery is dropped in from the bottom, and you adjust the entire threaded switch assy. to take up battery end play.

Yep heard of it. It is what is known as "hybrid" because it doesnt have a removable top cap just removable bottom. There are a few others out there as well. They claim the design has less voltage drop which may or may not be noticeable. At the end of the day a good mech mod is a good mech!
