Smoktech SIDs and Smok Pyrex Glass DCT Cartomizers

A Smoktech SID is a great purchase. Great device that always hits like its brand new. As far a Voltage, that depends on the resistance of the coils in the tanks. A rule I use is double the resistance, then go up by around .3 or .4. For example, I have an iClear 30s, and using 1.5 ohm coils, I vape on 3.3-3.6V. With wattage, I like to mess around and find what tastes best. It's different with different tanks/coils. On the iClear, I can use between 12-13 without burning the coil.
I have used carto-tanks on the SID. It's a great vape.
I use single coil boges and take them anywhere up to 10w. Dual coils should go higher than that, no problem.
As ever, start low (6 or 7w) and work up, CAREFULLY, just in case.

Thanks to im so zen and the others that responded. Your info is really appreciated. I'll start at 3.6V and 6W and then try moving the wattage up a little at a time. Again, thanks to all from a newbie to mods.
Thanks to all of you that responded. I received my SID and have been using it exclusively. I purchased two Panasonic 3400 mAh batteries with the SID. I get about a day and a half of vaping with these batteries with moderate to heavy vaping. As suggested by im so zen (thank you) I started at 3.3 volts and 6 watts. I worked my up to 3.5 volts and 7.5 watts and find that those setting seem to work for me. Most of the tanks I use are Smoktech DTC at 1.5 ohms. I do have two tanks that are 2.2 ohms, single coil I think, but even they seem to work ok for me without changing the settings. Again, thanks for all of the help.
