I had an issue with one of my g-priv kits, I emailed smoktech support and they got back to me quickly with a firmware update.

I am using v1.6 Firmware, I have issues with:
- The power saving (timeout) for the mod is annoying, even setting it up to the max, the mod will turn off along with the screen, 5 clicks is required every once in awhile
- The 5 clicks to turn on the Mod doesn’t really work always from 1st time, you see the logo coming up then all goes black, u will need to do another 5 click and it will come up.
Will there be a firmware update for fix these issues??

I thought my ecig was defective, but I upgraded to the 1.7 firmware 5 days ago and everything works just like it is supposed to. So I hope my experience can help anyone who has troubles with their g-priv's, just upgrade the firmware and it will be fixed.
