Smoke / CO alarm that won't go off with moderately heavy vaping

I recently had to buy a new smoke / carbon monoxide alarm (a Kidde Nighthawk model PI9000), but to my dismay, it goes off if I vape enough to leave a visible haze of vapor in the room. It doesn't even have to be a particularly heavy haze, and the smoke alarm is about 30 feet from my computer, so it's not like I'm blowing clouds right into the sensor.

Does anyone know of a combined smoke / carbon monoxide alarm that won't go off from vaping? I don't want to buy another one just to find out that it also is set off from vapor.

Both types of smoke detectors (ionization and photoelectric) can be set off by vaping. Supposedly the ionization type are less likely to be set off, but with heavy vaping, they will alert.

Maybe get a fan to try and dissipate the clouds?
