I'm back with another product to cover; the smok T-Priv 220W TC Kit with 5ml TFV8 Big Baby tank. I've had it for 7 days now and for the most part, I love it! (as delivered).
I must start with a disclaimer to say that the Kit was sent to me by Efun.top for review, but as always, my coverage is honest and from the heart. I am not a salesman or pitchman, and I have no affiliation with SMOK or any of their distributors or resellers. No device is perfect, and the T-Priv is not either, but it does have some points where it really shines (no pun intended).
I must say, too, that I am not a reviewer who has extensive test gear to show the performance details and results that others do, so I'm leaving those details to two reviewers that I trust implicitly. My report will be based on doing the same kinds of things that the average vaper has to work with. That is, how well a device works as compared to other well known and trusted devices with a near-excellent reputation.
I will likely not make a video review because the package has already been covered in numerous first looks, somewhat detailed reviews, and by one of the two men that I put the most faith in these days for full coverage, with details that can be trusted as accurate. They would be Daniel DJLsb Vapes, because he already released his, and Phil Busardo. I anxiously await a review from Phil, but I haven't seen one by him yet, so here is Daniel's...
I probably won't have much to add to this, as Daniel is always quite inclusive of every detail (as is Phil), but I can say that I have experienced the same issues that he did. To qualify what I meant by "I love it! (as delivered)" is that the T-Priv works very well in Stainless Steel Temp Mode with the included TFV8 Big Baby and the V8 Baby-T8 0.15Ω Octuple Coil Head. However, I did use the TCR setting of 0.00125 as suggested by Daniel to get there. I haven't tried the V8 Baby-T8 0.4Ω Dual Coil Head yet. And I really wish that the V8 Baby RBA had been included with the Kit. The RBA is included in the TFV8 Big Baby package, but not in this Kit.
I'll get into this kind of thing more after showing some of SMOK's photos and their posted specs...
