Hi everyone,

I am a new vaper in my mission to quit smoking. I just bought my first vape device- Smok Nfix last week and so far love it.Its so lightweight and portable and produces nice flavour.

Being a newbie I have a pretty silly question- the pod in the nfix is very easily refillable. But if i want to fill it with a different flavoured juice, how do i empty/ clean the juice which is already in it? Or do i need to vape the juice until it reaches minimum level and then add another flavour juice?

Very excited to join the forum and the vape community. Thanks in advance

Generally you will want to use a new pod for a new flavor. The wicking in the coil holds the juice and if you refill with something different, the flavors will mix and it will take some time for the new flavor to overpower the old one, if it even does. Sometimes this will result in a mixed flavor that is over the top good and other times not so good. Use a fresh pod when you change flavors for best results. Pods are disposable and should be tossed when the flavor gets bad, you will know when. I dont know your specific device, so I cant tell if the pods have replaceable coils or is the whole pod set with a fixed coil and just toss the whole mess when its fried. Pods are an easy way to find out if you like vaping and will help you quit smoking. But....beware the rabbit hole. There is a whole other world of much more satisfying vaping beyond pods. But stick to what works before you branch out. Vaping is also a hobby if you like to tinker with stuff. Rebuildables are much cheaper to operate. Coils will last much much longer because all you have to do is replace the wicking when it gets nasty or want to change flavors. Do continue researching the various vape set ups if you're interested in something besides a pod type, there are still really decent mods and tanks available for now. That may change in the near future so stock up now if you're of a mind to continue vaping.

Hi coyote628,

that helped.Got 3 replacement pods today and they were relatively cheap.I made the mistake of mixing two flavours and it tasted horrible. Now can try different flavours.my pod doesn’t have replaceable coils , so once the coil gets bad , you dispose it.
But decent for a beginners like me as its very simple to use.

will remember your suggestions and try out rebuildables once i get the hang of it.

Thank you so much!

I was just going to say I agree with everything he said ;) No hurry... stick with what you have (and stock up on pods when you can) You should also consider getting an extra (backup) device just in case (if you have issues, it's all too easy to run back to smoking) Don't know how much you smoked, but do the math... how much were you spending on smokes in a month? That helps keep things in perspective when buying vape stuff. Vape on, peace out!

Mixing flavors in a pod or tank is certainly iffy. Like I said, I can go either way. Some flavors go together ok and some just dont. I mostly vape dessert flavors, cookies, cake, etc. so occasionally I'll have 2 that work together but even then, I still prefer a new coil when I change flavors. I have a mech mod with an rda and was vaping a Graham cracker flavor on it. This stuff is nice and has a brown sugar caramel profile. On a whim, I dripped some Fuji apple berry mix in with it. It was pretty crazy, caramel apple was what I got from it. It was actually not bad at all. Nothing I'm gonna mix up a whole batch of but not bad. With the rda, all i gotta do is pull out the cotton wick, do a quick rinse under hot water and dry burn the coils, re wick and I'm good to go.
