The battery probably got over drained while in storage (even when the device is off, it can very slowly drain the battery). A new battery would likely fix the issue.

On a side note, charging through the mod via USB is not really advised. An inexpensive external charger is a safer option for your mod and battery.

Thank you. I thought it could be the battery. Will buy a new one tomorrow and check it out... Hopefully that is the problem and not something bigger.
PS: We never charge via USB. We always use external chargers :)

perhaps worth a quick mention

fwiw....

With some external battery chargers, they claim to have a features that can "revive dead/over discharged batteries", once batteries go dead or wont charge, its best just to replace them.....

My husband and I haven't vaped for quite a while. Last night I wanted to start using it again, but it’s not charging. When I plug it in, it says that it's charging but it stays on 0%. My vape won't even charge at all. It stays dead. What could be the problem?
Welcome and glad you joined.
