I don't know if anyone can give me an answer to this, but I was wondering how these compare. I've been told they are very similar. The Sahara is my all day vape as of now, but I'm slowly becoming less and less a fan of v2. Especially after how much more smoothly my 2 transactions have been here and my transactions have been with gotvapes. I get my orders very quickly, customer service is excellent. Even though I've had no major issues, I can see how active Imagine is in this forum and it's miles beyond how active v2 is in their own forum. And now I'm having some other issues with the way v2 is running their July 4th sale. Since SI is running their own July 4th sale, I'm considering placing my large order for ry4 here; rather than a large Sahara order with v2. Not to mention the myriad of other juice choices SI has to offer over v2.

Well, I don't have any idea how the two flavors compare, but I can state, with no reservations, that SI/Volt has the better cartomizer. By far. If you can put up with the over-priced merchandise, excessive waits with lame excuses, and blatantly inflated shipping costs, you can still get Sahara liquid and put it in Volt blanks. Can you tell where I got my first starter kit???

Well I don't use carts. I use pheonix's and have a couple x2 clearomizers on the way for my x2 batteries. I'm ordering another x2 battery, a couple more x2's and 6 bottles of ry4. Sad thing is, the price of v2's Sahara is about the same (at 25 ml, and at the sale price) as 30 ml of SI's juice at regular price. I'm going with SI and not looking back. Love the people at v2's forum though, so I'll keep posting there as well as here.

I've read the round up. Sahara is supposed to be their Turkish blend, but I seem to taste what most people describe ry4. Carmel, vanilla, and tobacco. Someone on the v2 forum said they taste very similar and so I thought that on the off chance someone else here may have started with v2 and then moved here and could tell me.

I don't think they do. Others might do it out of habit, but I find them to be ready to go right away.

Just thinking out loud here for a minute.... maybe if it had been out of stock for awhile and a brand new fresh batch just arrived, mayyyyybe that one could sit for a bit. But if it had been in stock for weeks then I'm thinking the steeping is already done. But I don't know that to be fact, just me pondering :)

The Sahara were the only tobacco cartridges I liked from V2, and I'd stocked up on them. I can't say I'd compare them to RY4. I'd never had an RY4 before, though, either. When I first switched to SI, I tried the tobacco flavor sampler pack. I didn't care for the RY4 at first, and it grew on me. I certainly liked the Desert Joe better than the Sahara. And 555 blew me away, I really liked it. When I switched to SI, all my cartridges from V2 accompanied the batteries I bought for a relative to try. After a few weeks, I went back to the RY4 and liked it better then.

I gave up my V2 batteries (I donated most of them to charity), they were decent batteries, but my best advice is to get a standard starter kit from Smokeless Image and get the Smooth Sampler to give a try. The cost is much less than you are used to and the customer service goes leaps and bounds beyond what the poor souls over on the other side must endure. The flavor is so much more with SI, too. The SI liquids do not need to be steeped, and the flavor stays pretty consistent throughout the bottle.

Go for the Smokeless Image 4th of July sale. It is one of the best deals you can get on some of the best products on the market. Plus, if you do like what you try and you keep coming back, your reward points will build to the point that you won't have to wait for a sale to get a good deal. SI also has a painless, non-affiliate referral program that makes helping someone else switch a very easy thing to do without making the person feel like you're in it for the money and not their health or best interests.

Welcome to Voltville, Dac311. I hope you will enjoy your visit and maybe you'll like what you see and put down some roots in the neighborhood.

I should mention that RY4 and Desert Joe run pretty much neck and neck for my second favorite flavors from SI, 555 is my first choice. RY4 and Desert Joe are not the same flavors, and both are good in their own rights. You won't go wrong. RY4 has a definite caramel/sweet taste, whereas Desert Joe is more the "Turkish" type blend. I think Desert Joe tastes like it has a little grapefruit flavor in it, everyone else tells me I'm crazy and they don't taste any such thing, and we all like it. lol.

I started my vaping adventure with V2 Sahara, because I was a camel smoker. They are nice, but a little too sweet for my liking. Then I moved on to Smokeless Image and tried the smooth sampler. RY4 is my favourite of all the tobacco flavours (I don't like fruities and I don't like was is sometimes described as "nutty"), it is a bit less sweet than Sahara and has "rounder" taste. It's impossible to describe tastes! I still like Sahara (have some leftover cartridges). I quite liked Desert Joe, but they were out of stock when I was ordering my liquids. I think I'll get some of it with my next order. Also lately I started adding a few drops of menthol to everything. Pure menthol is a bit too "toothpasty" for me.

The bottom line is if you like Sahara you will like RY4, and vice versa.
