I finally got in my wire rope Wire Rope Wick 7x19 1/16. I wrapped it for my rsst with a little piece of mesh. I used ribbon wire .8 . My ohms came out to .6 ohms with a 6/5 wrap. The wire rope is so small I am wondering if any one has tried round wire and microcoil it? Right now no hot spots and a lot of flavor because it wicks so fast I mean I took one pull tilted and now have it up right and held the button for 7 sec and not one glowing coil. I probably could have held it for longer but I didn't see the point. I am not trying to blow my face of though its not hot and every thing seems kosher but how low is to low on the sub ohms before it put to much stress on the battery? 18650 efest 2000mah battery is what I have in my k100 mod. I am thinking of trying the microcoil on it with 30awg or a piece of organic cotton on top to thicken up the wick. Thoughts would be appreciated.

I didn't want to jump on the rope bandwagon too fast. But it really wicks really fast. I am a hour in and I don't know what going on in the rsst tank but I have to turn the air hole away or the coil doesn't heat up the juice fast enough and it floods. Now it could be I have flat ribbon and I know it is heat resistant by nature. but at .6 to .5 ohms I would think it would still heat up fast enough especially since I put in a fresh battery. What would be to low of a sub ohm coil for the batteries?
