Inside the box, we find the Manto S mod, a micro-USB charging cable and the Metix mix 6 ml atomizer (unfortunately without any spare parts)
The Metix mix designed by rincoe has a maximum capacity of 6ml thanks to the Pyrex Bubble it is equipped with.
Measure 25mm and has the removable airflow ring for a good cleaning, the 2 air intakes are gigantic and measure 3mmx13mm like those of the TFV12 to understand.
On the bottom is the wording Designed by rincoe, metix mix, disposal and the C E. logo
The fixed Pin protrudes on average.
The top cap is unscrewed to access the refil (rational solution) I like this type of opening and I think it is one of the most reliable systems, better than those with a "sled" and stronger than other snap-in or "hook" systems '
There are two refil buttonholes and they are gigantic, very comfortable.
the 810 resin drip tip has 2 o'ring that keep it well in place.
4 the types of coils available ranging from a minimum use of 40w up to a maximum use of 180W!
these coils are not compatible with smok or smok '' style '' atomizers but are compatible with excellent freemax.
In the use with a 40-70w coil at 50w I noticed an excellent steam production and a good-above-average aromatic perception.
I think I will continue to use it and I will definitely buy the other coils, I am curious to try those that reach 180w.
On the official website this atom has a price of $ 19, much less than other competitors who generally offer much less in quality. Congratulations again Rincoe!
The Manto mod measures 70mm x 40mm x 37mm and has a design reminiscent of the old Wismec 2/3, but thanks to rounded edges, a pleasantly rubberized surface finish and a very light body, this device does not make me regret anything.
Finding a dual battery box at around 30 euros (soloMod) is rather difficult nowadays, but the new Rincoe Manto S proves that it is not absolutely impossible. With a maximum power of 228 W, temperature control and bypass mode, the Manto S will not be as rich in features as many of its competitors, but it remains is a smart choice for vapers that appreciate simplicity, convenience and extreme lightness that this product offers.
Rincoe has managed to significantly reduce the price, opting for a cheaper material. While today most of the mods are made of zinc or aluminum alloys, the Manto S is made of polycarbonate (PC), a plastic material that is incredibly light and at the same time very durable.
On the front of the mod, we have the diamond-shaped plastic fire button, a fairly large and bright OLED display and a + and - rocker bar under which is the microusb door.
On the back, we have the battery compartment door, held in place by a pair of large magnets, two large vertical notches cut into the door also serve as air intakes for the batteries.
In the upper part, we find the cup with pin 510 with spring plated in gold, the connection is not central, but it is possible to use atomizers up to 26 mm in diameter without protrusion, For the small cup was used to keep it slightly elevated with respect to the box to prevent the atom bottom from scratching during screwing, the stratagem works great and no light is seen between atom and box, compliments Rincoe!
in the bottom on which the mod rests there are 2 screws, the C E mark and the disposal logo.
the battery compartment is fairly clean and equipped with a strap, the polarity indicators are clearly visible and clear, the contacts in the upper part are spring loaded, and since the mod is made of polycarbonate, the possibility of a short circuit is very low.
The sample I received for this review is the '' Camo '' version with a military camouflage look, but you can choose from a dozen other designs all visually appealing.
Menu and navigation system
The Rincoe Manto S is all based on simplicity and its menu system is a clear demonstration of this. There are no sub-menus to get lost in, as all selections are made on the main screen and the few combinations of buttons are simple and easy to remember.
Whatever the mode you are in, the power is adjusted using the "+" and "-" buttons. To change modes, all you have to do is press the fire button three times in quick succession. The 'mode' icon at the top of the screen, next to the battery indicators, will begin to flash, and it will be possible to use the '+' and '-' buttons to scroll through the different modes, wattage mode, temperature control (nickel , titanium, stainless steel), TCR and bypass.
There are no pre-heating options, no custom curve modes or customization of the screen for those who work with the usual modalities (most of them) is absolutely not a limitation.
La Manto offers the possibility of being used even during recharging. Surprisingly, it also has a fast recharge (2A) which is very advantageous to have a full charge in no time. However, as always, it is recommended to use an external charger, charging the batteries within the mod must be like a last resort.
As for performance, I can only comment on how it works in wattage mode, because I'm not a real fan of temperature control and I don't even want to use it because I don't need it.
The buttons are well made and it's a pleasure to click them, the box is as effective as most mods nowadays, I don't have the tools or the technical knowledge to test the accuracy of the power, but simply using my experience as a vaper , I would say that the power is very close to the value displayed on the screen.
Conclusion
The Rincoe Manto S is definitely not the most advanced dual battery model, in fact, it is quite simple, but in a good way. We have the power mode, temperature control, bypass mode, impressive power and an intuitive menu at an incredible price. So, if you're looking to save money and don't really care about customization, pre-heating settings, etc., this box is a good choice.
