Hi,

I've been using Kanger Clearomisers since I started vaping. I like the T3S due to it's capacity, but I'm getting sick of it leaking whenever I'm down to 1.2 mil. Whenever I reach that point, it will leak and I end up losing juice and flooding the battery. I've used 4 T3S's and each one has the same issue.

Can anyone recommend something of similar capacity?

Cheers!

Have you tried the tip to take one of your extra t3s silicone gaskets and "double up" in a single unit. My t3's had the occasional leak....since doing this, nary a one.

You could also look into buying Aspire Nautilus Mini, which I believe is a eGo-threaded version of the full-size Nautilus tank, can't remember any specs for it. Also as far as leaking goes, it's a 'breed' issue with most of the bottom-coil clearos and tanks.

The Mini Nautillus is a great option, but it's a 19mm 510 threaded clearo. It should be used with a beauty ring to protect the ego threads.

I used T3S for about a year...

(that long? :) LOL )

They are almost impossible to stop leaking..

These days, I use Aspire mini Nautilus BVC. Phenomenally good in comparison when it comes to leaks and general annoyances. They don't work so great on standard batteries, but you might find them good enough. They have a little brother - the Aspire K1 £6.99, but these only hold half the amount your are used to.

Sorry for the bump, but I've been 'doubling up' on the rubber gromit as suggested in this thread and it's been working great for weeks now. Very little leaking when doing this.

Thank you for the advice, No need to replace my T3S now.

Just remember that that T3s tank is plastic and will react (badly) to certain flavors. Loved mine - until the liquid I put in it with both a lemon and a mint flavoring created cracks in the tank. Haven't used a plastic tank clearo since. ~> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-40.html

IMO the reason your T3 is leaking is that you are using protank heads instead of the T3 heads. They may look the same but the flange on the protank heads are a ioda wider so they don't quite fit the T3's but the T3 heads fit into a protank and work just fine. You'll notice a gap between the clearo and base also if you look inside where the chimney and the silicone gasket meet there is a gap also...thats where the juice is leaking. The T3 heads are getting harder to find so you might of inadvertently bought protank heads. Flipping the silicone gasket is the fix for that as stated previously.

If you still have coils for the T3S then stick with a Protank I/ II and add the airflow adapter which will upgrade your Protank to similar capabilities as a Aerotank. The T3S single coils are rebuildable and less expensive than the newer BDC dual coils used in the Protank III and Aerotank series. I personally prefer the single coil cartridges as they are better for smaller mods and does not tax the battery as much as dual coils. The thing I hate about clearos is their proprietary pre-made coils, once you switch to a new model, your old coils become useless even within the same brand and you have to start from scratch again.
