Reload S RDA

I have a Reload S rda arriving here sometime this week. Despite the drama associated with the deck it seems like a pretty nice single coil squonk and I'm looking forward to building on it.

I haven't seen it mentioned on this forum so I was wondering if anyone had one and what their thoughts are it.

The rda came in the mail today and I nabbed it from the mailbox after work... But my wife also picked up a puppy we adopted this afternoon so I haven't had a ton of time to really sit down with the device till right now. I slapped a build in it between calls from the missus for reinforcements with the pupper. Here are some quick iPhone 4 pictures:

All I can really say as of now is that it's very easy to build on and it produces vapor. I'll need a few days with it to really come to any conclusions but so far so good. No complaints yet aside from the AFC not lining up with my mod.

I've probably spent more time making this post than vaping the thing so let me rectify that...

The RDA came in the mail today and I nabbed it from the mailbox after work... Thanks for posting pics while being so busy. It looks sharp on that OhmBoy mod, very nice. I've been on the fence about getting one too. How do you like it?

I think it's great so far. The chamber is pretty small for the big chungus alien coil I had in there. I was getting a lot of spitback so I swapped it out for a fused clapton and the problem was solved. I'm not particularly good at breaking things down like a reviewer would. Alls I can say is that it's a fine little single coil squonker. It doesn't leak, it's easy to build on and it does what it's supposed to do. The AF is pretty kick ... and you get that bottom coil action out of it which is nice. I don't think it's an essential buy unless you're in the market for a single coil RDA to squonk on but, if you are, I highly recommend it. I can't think of anything to fault about it yet aside from the price... I dunno what else to say.

Edit- It would have been nice had they included a little coily so you would know where to cut the leads for the postless deck. I think for 60 bones it would have been more than reasonable to include that.

I bought a clone, not the original. I hugely prefer it to the Wasp Nano for flavour but I still haven't found a single coil rda that competes with dual coil rda's for me. I have to say though, the airflow control ring is almost impossible to move, hopefully people that bought the real deal don't have that issue.

The AFC on the authentic is smooth as butter.

Reload S is at the top of my wishlist currently. Not crazy about the branding but the rda itself is definitely inside my sweet zone.

Would recommend. Would be my #1 single coil RDA recommendation for squonking, outside of facebook lists, limited availability, etc. #1 mass produced/readily available IMO.

Sooo... This sucks.

The post broke open when I tightened it down on my coil... Very disappointed and upset right now. I don't know if I received a defective RDA or if they're all like this. I'm hoping the distributor is able to replace it.

The engravings on your Reload seem quite shallow, which makes me believe you got a clone.
On clones broken posts are quite common, depending on the manufacturer/material used.
If so, better get the Reload S clone without branding. It's been working for me for quite some time now without issues.

In my opinion the Reload S performs like a dual coil atty, and due to its massive airflow intakes and large chamber it is quite powerhungry for a singlecoiler.
Comparing it to similar designed atties it needs more wattage (~65W) than the Recurve (~55W) and a bit less than the Tauren Solo(~75W) to get the vape I enjoy.

I got it from Eciggity, they're a reputable shop and it should be an authentic. Others have ordered the S from there and Eciggity told me I'm the only one so far to have had this issue. They're replacing it at the moment.

I think it's just a QC issue as the post above it seems to have the same issue as well.

I don't understand the deck on this atty. It looks like it's made for a double coil, but there doesn't seem to be that much room. I am glad Eciggity is replacing it for you.

The deck takes coils no matter which way you wrap them, either clockwise or counterclockwise.

Surprisingly Reload Vapor had damn good customer service. I have had issues with 2 of there products each time they asked for pictures of the issue and shipped me a new one the next day
