Hi, I have a zmax revision 2 board and 2x18650 batteries.
My Zmax broke from I assume the chip going bad. Does anyone have experience with "gutting" the zmax rev 2 model from smoktech and rebuilding it? I have no idea if it will end up fittting nice or a mess, since that chip seems to be glued quite tight on my copy via epoxy.
Also, if anyone has any recommendations on what to use as a casing/holder for a Zmax rev 2 I would be more than appreciative!
I ordered a 3xAA box thinking I could just use protected 14500 batteries with it, but than thanks to this forum (thanks might not even be the word), I found out I had to use IMR batteries, which don't fit the size "budget" of this box one bit!
