First time using lost vape. I bought the Cyborg Quest December 2022 and this (Pic below) its what it looks like now. I bought it from Element Vape.
I have never left my house with the device its always been in my room. Paint just pealed off. But the worst part is that the device is failing badly. If I press the fire button and say I have wattage set at 35.5 it will drop down to 5w and not hit properly, the only solution? Smack it hard on its side a couple of times lol and it will start working fine again until it decides to break again.

Overall I would not buy lost vape again just based on my first personal experience. The old Swag 2 I had was a tank compared to this device.

That's god awful product design and quality control @Alphantor, may be worth trying to submit a ticket on it for warranty.

Other than that, I have noticed recently that Element Vape by the looks of it are clearing their stock of SX Mini SL Class V2, and I've not had a bad experience myself with YiHi chipset mods. And the TC mode on them is dammed good, comparable to Evolv DNA chipsets if not a little better.

Thank you. What's even worse is that Lost Vape seems to be a Chinese retailer so customer service seems to be non existent. I messaged them 1 week ago just heard from them today. Will see how this goes but don't seem like they are going to be able to RMA anything. Bummer

I don't know what selling rights you have, but in the UK where I'm from your sale is with the retailer and not the manufacturer.

So it may be an idea to contact your retailer and see what they could do, if anything.

    Just an idea though.
Not the same way here in USA. Here retailers tend to allow 30 to 60 days return max. After that point you have to deal directly with manufacturers.

Even on inherent defects that make things not fit for the purposes intended, now that's buldor and sucks.

You've got an Edsel of a mod and they won't do anything?
Well just seems fair honestly like any other brand they should honor their warranties. Heck even groceries stores do that. That's what sucks about this cause I understand .... happens and stuff breaks. It was honestly a pretty decent device then the paint started peeling 3 months in and now the device keeps turning on and off on its own, that's just terrible.

Sadly I might have to buy another Lost Vape mod again due to a small situation I am in currently it's the best mod for the cheapest price. I am considering getting the Thelema Solo next. Sadly all other mods are lower quality in this price range.

I admit I did use rubbing alcohol one time to clean the Cyborg Quest but I don't see how that would cause the paint to rub off.

Wow! Took it apart it seemed that e-juice had gotten inside the main board and 1 battery wire was lose also. Wiped the board and the inside with q-tip and alcohol, reassembled it and to my surprise its working fine again!
Not sure how long it will hold for but it was a fun little experiment. Hopefully doesnt break again so i dont have to buy a new one

EDIT: It works better now but still has issues. Gonna toss it and buy a new one. I know ppl dislike Vaporeso and SMOK for quality but at least they have 6 month warranty and USA authorized repair center. Geek vape was another option but they only offer 90 day warranty, that's a Hard no for me.

Lost Vape support never replied in 2 weeks even tho they offer a 6 month warranty I would avoid them. Its impossible to get warranty service since they seem to be China based.

Hey, Vaporesso make reasonable mods. Still got my Switcher at one side for just in case.

My SMOK procolour didn't last a month before the board started to fail, so I don't have a good opinion of them and now avoid.

Geekvape, never used any. But folks seem to like them and they seem to be reasonably well made.

But I'm glad to hear that you've got it working, to properly sort it the board probably needs ultrasonic cleaning with solution of distilled water and isopropyl alcohol. Then putting some form of conformal coating to proof it against liquids.

I can't believe they skimped on that though.

Unfortunately geekvape only offers 90 day warranty.

Also received an update from Lost Vape this morning. Can't believe they told me my Cyborg quest is out of warranty and that it's discontinued. Both are lies! So I am super avoiding Lost Vape.
Smok and Vaporesso both have US service center and both offer 6 month warranty so I am going with 1 from either of those companies.

LV ain't what they used to be, I think the Drone and Triade was where it all started going downhill.

But out of SMOK and Vaporesso @Alphantor I'd go with Vaporesso, as the switcher I have at one side and apart from having gained some character it still works as well as the day I took it out of the box.
