Questions about iStick 30w eleaf and use of my Aspire tanks.

If anyone can give me advice i'd really appreciate it.

Will Aspire CE5 (BDC) Clearomizers work with the provided EGO adapter of the 30w istick? I

can get it at a really good price right now and don't want to pass it up.

I think I can get an Aspire Nautilis and use the BDC coils from the CE5 clearomizers in that, if i understand correctly, but I just can't afford it right now.

I have a ton of these and am right at my budget limit but would love to get an iStick 30w. I just don't want to waste my money if these clearomizers won't fit properly.

I waited until they fixed the 510 spring issue and I don't care what they look like on the mod.

I just need time until I can afford a new tank. Even a Kanger is out of my budget right now but I can't pass up a really good deal on an iStick and it will be my first mod which i really want.

If a few months my budget will improve but for now I need to live on these Aspire BDC clearomizers.

They will work if the iStick you buy has the adapter included. Mine didn't have it when I purchased it but I was looking for the bare minimum price. Make sure you verify it's included in your purchase. And it's a GREAT device by the way.

Rocky mountain Vapor has them for under $33 shipped full kit but I'm waiting to make sure they include the "Authenticity Sticker " with the box.

Someone keeps putting their link up in the dedicated istick thread and they seem legit. It's on sale for $39 + 15% off with code"forum" and free shipping.

I have an IPV Mini - I love being able to swap out batteries so quickly. I have a Nitecore I4 with 3 18650's charging and 1 in use. I never run out of power

The istick 30w is good for those who don't chain vape though. I loved my original istick - I owned 3 of them. I found it cheaper to use 1 device and just swap out batteries.

With the istick 30w, I'd recommend the Atlantis tank. I'll never go back to non-subohm tanks ...and the airflow is amazing for lung hitting.

Sub ohms just sounds wrong to me..lol. I'd be happy with a tank that just gives me decent vapes. I've lived on EGO batteries and have been happy for 3 years. I've never even tried a VV battery but at $32 shipped i couldn't pass this up. I'm just praying I don't have to lower the voltage too much and it spits instead of burns. I heard it doesn't like the BVC ones either. Trial and error I guess. I just purchased a bunch of BDC coils and don't want to dump them so I hope they work.

I was thinking a Kanger tank. I've heard good results with iStick and it's a cheap one to try. Hopefully the BDC 1.8s don't have issues.


Yeah, I love my Nitecore 4(not the new LCD one) and have a ton 18650s but they're all protected and Panny 3400s which are the wrong type. I use 'em for my tactical flashlights. I want to get an OPUS 3400 or a Foxnova f-4..Not sure about the Foxnova. I don't know what the cut off voltage is if it misses the neg DC terminal voltage and uses a cut off at a lower voltage. Hopefully it uses a combo of both and the cutoff voltage is 4.2v or so.

I'd love to use a Foxnova or OPUS 3400 to test some of my UltraFire 4000 and 5000. Hahaha. I bet they are all under 1000mah

Some Smart AA\AAA chargers cut off at 1.47 and never fully charge even though they are 1.42v batts.. The MAHA as good as that one is does this so you need to leave it on charger for an hour or two so after FULL to trickle it up. It still never fully chargers my Eneloops which when charging go to 1.53v.

I obsess on battery chargers. I Have a La Crosse BC-700,. Nitecore 4,, Ambient Weather BC-2000(best AA\AAA charger out there).. If I didn't spend so much money on battery chargers and rechargeables i'd be able to afford a decent tank. I'm hoping Ambient Weather takes the Opus 3400 and rebrands like they did the OPUS 2000. They add more thermal sensors and other safety features.

I enjoy my Kanger Subtank when I really want to taste the flavor. The coils are cheap too! I found vaping at 25w is best with the .5 ohm coils.

Trust me, once you subohm, you won't go back. The flavor and vapor production is so much better! It's like a whole new experience to vaping. I was the same way - but I decided to jump on the subohm wagon and I'm glad I did. I also rebuilt my Lemo and Kayfun v4, but I don't go below .4ohms when building.

Once I use up all the coils I have for the Aspire CE5 tanks I have which vape pretty good at 8.9w\3.9v on the istick I'll probably buy a sub ohm. I'm not in to rebuilding YET.

If you had a choice would you buy the Lemo or a Kanger for an iStick 30w?
