Question about Innokin coil for Iclear 30S

Longtime lurker, first time poster. Switched from analogs over a year ago and haven't looked back. I recently started using an Iclear 30S and think it's a big improvement from my Protank II which always seemed to leak. I like the Iclear but am having some trouble with the coils. A new coil will be fine for a few days, my setup shows 1.8 ohms at 3.3V and it seems to be happy there. After a while though the vapor production will diminish, causing me to up the Volts, which eventually fries the coil and my corresponding ohm reading goes way up as resistance increases. I'm a moderate vaper but these coils are only lasting 5 or 6 days. Is this a problem with the product or a problem with the operator?

welcome to ECF I have used the 30S extensively and its one of my all time favorite tanks What VG amount are you vaping So far my 1.8 ohm coils last close to 3 weeks. I usually clean the coil at that time and can get another week or 2 from it. I remove the silicon seal from the top of the coil you will see the coils inside. screw just the coil onto your mod and heat the coil up release fire button dip just the end up to the coil in water to quench the coils do this several times then Dry burn off the water and reinstall

Thanks for the tips on cleaning, I'll try that out. I'm using 20% VG at 18mg in Dekang Red USA Mix from Eliquidmarket. Good stuff.
