Hi! I'm very new to vaping as I only bought this, my first vape, today.

I filled up my tank (bottomfill) around 1/4 or 1/3 full and put a drop or two onto the little cotton-things on the coil before putting it all together, but when I use it there's usually gurgling/bubblying sounds (like when you're sucking a straw in a cup that has almost no more liquid). I tried tightening and drying off parts of the coil/tank whatever but the problem persists

Can anyone help me with this? :(

Hi, First off do not panic this can be fixed. When I started I had some issues. My first reaction was this is going be a pain in the .... and I should run down to the store and buy a pack of analogs, fill up my Zippo and go back to slowly killing myself. Then I remembered That I am smarter then this thing and I will overcome the issues. I was going to make it work. What type of tank is it? Let us help you! You are not alone!

If you look into the top of the coil you will see there is actually a lot of cotton surrounding the coil. Priming with two drops, from the outside will not be enough. Put some down the center(around the sides), slowly, let it soak in!
I do it until the side holes are not white and liquid leaks out a bit.
If the coil is dryish, some cotton will burn on your first and second hit.
Once there is less cotton around the coil it will leak and gurgle.
Cheers.

If you have the Kanger Subvod you should be top filling not bottom filling. You may have juice in the chimney tube or the battery connection for the coil.

Yes, probably in time... but when it's new?

You need to prime the coil, so why not just fill it up the 'old school way'?

The user manual states very clearly you can do either. I will agree though it makes no sense to bottom fill once it's up and running.

I agree on this. Those juice holes (and cotton) are enormous. A good prime is going to take many drops.

I swear I used <1/2 ml before even assembling/filling the tank.

The best way to prime a coil is put one drop in each hole on the sides and one down the throat hole at the top. Then top fill the tank and let it sit if you like although I've never found it necessary. Top filling prevents us messing up that bottom seal and trust me it's easy to mess up that one, I've done it twice and had to reopen a full tank. Very messy if the coil happens to stick in the air flow base.
